The Volkswagen Beetle is a real milestone in the Automotive History. The first model went into production before the Second World War and it were characterized immediately for an impressive reliability, a unique design, and a strong personality. The real commercial success, however, started from the end of the war. In fact the VW Beetle became one of the symbols of German industrial growth during the '50s and' the 60s. During the years several improvements and innovations has been adopted but never changed drastically the good original project and the unique design. On 1972 the “1303 model”, characterized by more modern aesthetic solution as the curved windscreen and a new shape of the rear lights, has been launched on the market. Together with Miura, the Countach has represented the backbone of Lamborghini legend. In 1974 once again Bertone Marcello Gandini’s designer manage to draw a charming, unconventional car, which left speechless everybody. The first generation, the LP400, powered by a 4 liters V12 longitudinal engine, for a max speed of 315 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5,6 seconds. But with the birth in 1985 of the 5000 fourvalves the performance are intended to improve further. This new version is powered by an improved V12, with an increased displacement and the important innovations of the four valves per cylinder, from which the correction in the name. Lamborghini countach 25th anniversary Final version of the glorious Countach, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Lamborghini, boasts numerous improvements, were in fact changed about 3,000 of the 8,000 pieces that make up the car. Much of the aesthetic innovations derived from the prototype Countach Evoluzione in 1986, the first supercar in the world made of carbon fiber. The air box and the air intakes were redesigned and enlarged and were mounted of miniskirts , the geometry of the suspension was modified. The improved aerodynamics allowed a maximum speed of 300 km / h. This was the last version made the Countach, which remained in production until 1990 when it was replaced by the Diablo. With its posterior longitudinal engine V12 and fascinating body, designed by Marcello Gandini for Bertone, the two-seater redefined the concept of a sports car. At its debut the Miura was the fastest production car in the world: With a speed over 280 kph and an acceleration from 0-100 kph in 5,1 seconds the Lamborghini Miura set new standards in the sports car segment. The original Miura P400 was produced between 1966 and 1968, but the success story did not end there: The Miura was first developed further into the Miura S (1968-1971) with 370 HP and later into the Miura SV (1971-1973), which had wider mud guards and a greatly revamped 385 HP engine with separate lubricating systems for engine and gearbox. Anyway the very first Transit was produced in 1965 by the German and British Ford together, expressly wanted by Henry Ford; this cooperation gave life to what is Ford Europe today and to the well-known vehicle MK I. In 1978 it was further reshaped and the MK II was born. In 1984 an esthetic restyling was made on the front bumper and to the engine, which was a 68 horsepower Diesel York of 2.5 L.
