  2. French Infantry, Sedan 1940
    15,00 €

    Non disponibile

Dragon is releasing a 1/35 scale figure set depicting this battle. The four soldiers are French infantrymen, making this Dragon’s first WWII French infantry subject! The set depicts four Frenchmen defending their positions on the outskirts of Sedan. They wear typical uniforms of the day, and carry suitable weapons such as the Fusil mitrailleur modèle 1924 M29 (FM 24/29) light machine gun, plus MAS Modèle 36 rifles. One of the officers is even smoking a pipe, giving this figure a nice touch of character. The poses are well designed, and their molding is sharp and realistic. This first-ever French figure set will undoubtedly inspire modelers’ imaginations and open up a plethora of WWII diorama opportunities. Per saperne di più
  3. U.S.S. Princeton CVL-23
    121,00 €

U.S.S. Princeton CVL-23. Dragon has launched a fantastic new large-scale ship down the slipway from its workshop. The new kit is a 1/350 scale rendition of USS Princeton (CVL-23), an Independence-class light aircraft carrier of the US Navy (USN). This ship was originally laid down as a Cleveland-class light cruiser, but it received a new role and was eventually commissioned on 25 February 1943. Its first combat tour was in the Pacific from August onwards in the region of places like Tarawa. Its next combat tour commenced in January 1944, and in the Battle of the Philippine Sea, Princeton’s aircraft contributed 30 kills. The 13,000-ton carrier subsequently supported landings in Leyte in the Philippines in October 1944, where she was attacked by a lone Yokosuka D4Y “Judy” dive bomber. This Japanese aircraft dropped just a single bomb, but it was sufficient to cause a series of explosions and fires. Tragically, by evening the carrier was at the bottom of the Leyte Gulf. A total of 108 sailors lost their lives but 1,361 crewmen were rescued by other USN vessels. This new Smart Kit is logically based on Dragon’s earlier USS Independence (CVL-22), but it features numerous new parts. These include the port antiaircraft gun platform, the island walls and radar installation. The stern antiaircraft gun platform has been revised too. There are also a number of new photo-etched parts specifically for Princeton; these include radar antenna components. For greater versatility, modelers can elect to build a full-hull version or a waterline hull. To help populate this large ship, there are 18 appropriately scaled crewmen figures, as well as vehicles such as aircraft tugs. The complement of twelve aircraft is reproduced in transparent plastic, which allows easier painting and portrayal of cockpit glazing. This is an amazingly detailed and busy-looking model, and its quality is indeed fit for a prince! Per saperne di più

Dragon has already produced several 1/35 scale 1-ton Sd.Kfz.10 halftracks in plastic and these have been gladly received by modelers. This new kit from Dragon is the most potent version yet, thanks to the inclusion of the 5cm cannon. Indeed, this kit is an excellent hybrid that mates the delightful Sd.Kfz.10 halftrack with Dragon’s legendary 5cm PaK 38 anti-tank gun. The entire gun mount is completely new to suit this vehicle, plus the halftrack interior has been modified accordingly. The folded hoops for the roof are also brand new. The kit includes three armor elements for the hood, grill and windshield to perfectly recreate original vehicles. This is a spectacular halftrack with lots of firepower, and it’s certainly a welcome addition to the Sd.Kfz.10 family. Per saperne di più
  5. Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf.B mit Schneeräumer System Schmidt
    50,00 €

This 1/35 scale plastic kit builds straight from the box into an accurate Panzer IV Ausf.B, using accurate components from a previous release of this variant. Of course, the snow plow is a brand new element for this particular kit, and it stems from new toolings. The plow easily mounts onto the front of the standard tank. The box-top illustration from Ron Volstad will surely inspire modelers to create a stunning diorama of this ‘armored snow plow’ in action on the snowy Eastern Front. The track links make use of Magic Tracks that are very simple to assemble. Modelers will reap a lot of pleasure after investing in this exciting new plow-equipped German tank! Per saperne di più
  6. Panzerfähre Fährendeck mit Gepanzerter Landwasserschlepper Prototype Nr. II
    60,00 €

    Non disponibile

Dragon has created an impressive 1/35 scale plastic kit of the second prototype of the Panzerfähre. This means it’s a perfect companion to the previously announced Prototype Nr.I (Item No. 6625). What makes this kit spectacular is the inclusion of the pontoon ferry as well as the LWS tractor. When Prototypes Nr.I and II are joined together, they’ll make a complete panzer ferry. This LWS has many different parts compared to the first kit – a couple of examples include the driver’s compartment and the absence of the two air intakes. Clever use of slide molds means this vehicle is easier to assemble. The Panzerfähre deck is accurately produced with fine details, as is the pontoon. Hatches in the deck can even be displayed open or closed. Modelers can produce an amazing scene with the arrival of this new kit – it’s time for modelers to burn their bridges behind them! 50,00 €

    Non disponibile

Dragon has produced a fantastic 1/35 scale plastic kit of the Flakpanzer IV Ostwind. Owing to the turret being open-topped, all the relevant details on the gun and inside the turret are well represented. The cannon is particularly well defined and the barrel can be posed in any one of several different angles depending on whether the modeler has an aerial or ground target in view. The hull also carries a readymade Zimmerit coating that is masterfully represented. Inside the box, modelers will find many slide-molded plastic components. This latest kit from Dragon allows modelers to create the Flakpanzer IV Ostwind that was used by Flugabwehrzug (antiaircraft platoons) to protect units from marauding aircraft late in the war. Dragon’s new 1/35 scale model kit is based on a previous release of the standard 4x4 Truck, but it shows a vehicle heavily modified for desert operations by the SAS and LRDG. It is heavily loaded with weaponry, and jerry cans containing spare fuel and water, to allow reconnaissance missions deep behind the frontlines. Even the complete engine is included, which allows a modeler to depict a maintenance scene. Also of great utility is the two-man crew that comes in the box, showing SAS members in typical garb of the day sitting inside their vehicle. This exciting kit is accurate in every detail, and it reproduces vehicles widely seen in contemporary photos from WWII. This 4x4 vehicle is ready to range across the desert sands of North Africa! Around 14,000 Sd.Kfz.10 halftracks were built from 1938-45. Several specialist vehicles were based on this halftrack design, among them the Sd.Kfz.10/5. This vehicle had a platform on the rear for carrying an anti-aircraft 2cm FlaK 38 cannon. The purpose-built platform had fold-down sides and rear to give the crew more workspace when in combat. The weapon system was used by both the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe, and of course the weapon could be equally effective against ground targets. In 1943, the Luftwaffe ordered 293 sets of Behelfspanzerung (armor plates) to protect its Sd.Kfz.10/5 antiaircraft halftracks. Per saperne di più
