22,00 €The three soldiers are well sculpted in greatcoats and caps, suggesting an autumn or winter scene somewhere on the frontlines. Two crewmen are digging into the mouthwatering contents of their mess tins, while another is attempting to open a can with his bayonet. The set’s accessories such as a loaf of bread and canned food will prove valuable for all manner of diorama scenes. This domestic-looking set fills a gap in the range of plastic figures currently available on the market. Modelers will doubtlessly find this set appetizing as a standalone vignette or, alternatively, with the contents mixed and matched in a larger diorama. Serve it up, Dragon! Per saperne di più

The AB 43 armoured car is an evolution from the previous AB 40 and 41 models. Equipped with a new larger turret, its main weapon was the 20MM calibre Breda 35, with a co-axial 8MM machine gun. Unfortunately the AB 43 never entered into service with the Italian army as its production was only started in 1944 under the control of the German forces, which had occupied the Italian industry following the armistice in September 1943. These vehicles were distributed to many German units operating at the Italian front. They were used particularly for controls and by the police in the northern regions, which was subject to great partisan resistance. The few examples that survived were used by the police to maintain public order after the war. Per saperne di più -
14,00 €The new German army made use of the experiences collected in World War I to realize their modern reconstruction based on motorization. In spite of the limitations of the Treaty of Versailles able commanders introduced civilian vehicles into the army, thus creating a motorized mentality. In 1940 already, a battalion consisting of 3 to 4 companies each equipped with 52 motorcycles with sidecars and 4 motorcy-cles (single), was integrated into the motorized infantry and the armored divisions. Moreover, motorcycles were present in nearly all other Wehrmacht units, especially with the reconaissance units and the command, as well as the pioneer and the supply units. Produced in 16.500 units, the BMW R 75 together with the Zijndapp KS 750 formed the nucleus of the motorized units on all theatres of operations, especially in Africa and in Russia. The motorcycle was armored with an MG 34 mounted on the sidecar. On the road, it reached a maximum speed of 92 Km/h. Per saperne di più

Dragon has created an impressive 1/35 scale plastic kit of the second prototype of the Panzerfähre. This means it’s a perfect companion to the previously announced Prototype Nr.I (Item No. 6625). What makes this kit spectacular is the inclusion of the pontoon ferry as well as the LWS tractor. When Prototypes Nr.I and II are joined together, they’ll make a complete panzer ferry. This LWS has many different parts compared to the first kit – a couple of examples include the driver’s compartment and the absence of the two air intakes. Clever use of slide molds means this vehicle is easier to assemble. The Panzerfähre deck is accurately produced with fine details, as is the pontoon. Hatches in the deck can even be displayed open or closed. Modelers can produce an amazing scene with the arrival of this new kit – it’s time for modelers to burn their bridges behind them!
