AB 43 never entered into service with the Italian army as its production was only started in 1944 under the control of the German forces, which had occupied the Italian industry following the armistice in September 1943. These vehicles were distributed to many German units operating at the Italian front. They were used particularly for controls and by the police in the northern regions, which was subject to great partisan resistance. The few examples that survived were used by the police to maintain public order after the war. Per saperne di più

The troops of the Axis in a few months took back Cyrenaica and Tobruk, and advanced into Egypt. Constantly short on supplies, they were defeated by the 8th British Army at El Alamein. The additional pressure caused by the American arrival in Morocco forced the Afrika Korps to gradually retreat in Tunisia during 1943. Per saperne di più

One version was the Stuka zu Fuss mounting the Wurfrahmen 40 rocket launcher system, ideal for providing a heavy bombardment capability to panzergrenadier units. Dragon is now going to release such a vehicle in Ausf.D version. The Ausf. D hull featured a simplified construction, thus making production easier for Germany’s overstrained industry. This 1/72 scale Sd.Kfz. 251 halftrack model is highly detailed with accurate dimensions. The six rocket launcher frames mounted on the hull are reproduced by new photo-etched parts. The Stuka zu Fuss offered a heavy weapon to German motorized units, and Dragon's offers modelers an excellent new choice in halftracks! This existing release provides some serious firepower to modelers. Per saperne di più
