    - Panther G is accurately presented - Detailed designed rear panel and tool box - Engine deck w/delicate details - One-piece plastic gun barrel w/detailed hollow muzzle - Slide-molded upper hull w/details - Delicate turret w/authentic details - Intricate steel road wheels - One-piece DS track The Panther is a tank that commands a lot of attention from modelers, perhaps due to its sleek and purposeful appearance, or perhaps due to the fact that it was regarded as one of the best tank designs of WWII. The latest 1/72 model kit from Dragon is a Panther Ausf.G variant fitted with steel road wheels. Steel-rimmed “silent bloc” wheels of 800mm diameter, which saved on dwindling supplies of rubber, were introduced in a very limited number of vehicles produced by MAN in September 1944, and again in a batch dating from March-April of 1945 (introduced from chassis no. 121052). Such steel wheels had been successfully used on late-model Tiger I tanks and also on the Tiger II. These steel road wheels were also to be standardized on the updated Panther Ausf.F, a tank that never reached fruition. The new Dragon kit of such a Panther Ausf.G with steel wheels has re-engineered features, the most obvious example of which is the new steel road wheels, which are accurately reproduced in plastic. The inclusion of these wheels gives the Panther a whole new look. The rest of the tank lives up to Dragon’s uncompromising standards of quality and engineering excellence too, with widespread use of slide-mold technology. Indeed, this 1/72 scale Dragon kit is an absolute pleasure to assemble, and it offers model lovers even more options in building the ever-popular Panther G. Per saperne di più

The M4 is the first and most basic production version of the Sherman line. As many as 49,234 vehicles were produced, including the famous "Easy Eight". The Sherman first saw combat in North Africa in late 1942 against the Panzer III and Panzer IV. They would go on to be used on all fronts until the War's end. A lack of firepower and narrow tracks, witch often caused it to get stuck on muddy terrain, were its main weaknesses. Per saperne di più

  7. IJA Type 97 [Chi-Ha] Early Production
    15,00 €

The 1/72 scale Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tank (Item No.7397) that Dragon Armor previously released has been a very popular item. That particular model depicted a Late-Production variant, but now Dragon is adding an Early-Production model to the range. The Type 97 was Japan’s most widely produced medium tank of WWII. Boasting a 57mm main gun and two Type 97 machine guns, this tank was intended to serve as an up-scaled version of the Type 95 for infantry support. Armor protection was modest on this vehicle. A total of 2,123 tanks were produced from 1938-43, most of which had the low-velocity 57mm gun. The tank could move at a speed of 38km/h. The new 1/72 scale model uses some components from the previously released kit, but there are a great many new parts included. The entire upper hull, for example, is a completely new tooling. It’s all new to enable the correct depiction of the altered engine deck layout. Other notable alterations include the toolbox, shovel, rear-plate brackets and distinctive flaps on the engine deck. The lower hull also had to be modified due to the changed exhaust location. This Japanese tank kit allows modelers to field a tank that was used in both tropical and temperate regions of Asia, as well as the Pacific island-hopping campaign by the USA and the Allies.
