T-34/76 Mod.1943 1/72 Russian T-34/76 Mod.1943 On this plastic kit from Dragon, the new Mod. 1943 cupola is carefully reproduced, while the roof of this welded turret is also a brand new molding. Main Features: - Newly tooled top plate for welded turret NEW TOOLING - New cupola with fine details NEW - Hatches can be assembled in open/closed position - Upper hull with precise engine deck details - Correct mantlet is accurately rendered - One-piece DS track links - One-piece road wheel, idler and sprocket wheel for easy assembly - Cartograf decal offers variety of markings About the T-34 kit: One problem with early T-34 tanks was the inadequate protection given to commanders in their turrets. They had to open their large, unwieldy hatches and look over or around them in order to gain situational awareness. Obviously, this exposed them to a great deal of peril on the battlefield. The T-34/76 Mod. 1943 tank provided the commander with a cupola for the first time, offering the commander all-round vision from within the safety of his turret. Per saperne di più

L/48 gun Engine deck grills molded w/intricate details Finely detailed exhaust pipes, jack and rear stowage boxes molded on hull rear Bolts and rivets delicately represented on hull bottom One-piece slide-molded lower hull On-vehicle tools reproduced w/clasps Road wheels presented w/delicate detail Finely detailed front headlight Realistically produced jack block Easy-to-assemble idlers and sprocket wheels look authentic One-piece DS tracks One-piece side armor skirts While it’s the impressive Tiger I tank that usually attracts the most attention, it was the Panther that in the long run was a more important tank to Germany during WWII. This 45-tonne medium tank was also converted into a useful armored recovery vehicle known as the Berge-Panther, with nearly 350 examples produced. One particularly unusual vehicle to be created by the unit s.Pz.Abt.653 was a Berge-Panther fitted with a Panzer IV turret. The result was a command tank with a fixed turret, plus a name that was absolutely mind numbing: the Berge-Panther mit aufgesetztem Pz.Kpfw.IV turm als Befehlpanzer. The work was done as a field conversion by only one unit and it served with the aforementioned heavy tank destroyer battalion (originally equipped with Ferdinand and, later, Jagdtiger vehicles) on the Eastern Front in 1944. Dragon has such a new 1/72 scale kit of this special hybrid vehicle. The kit is based on a 1/35 scale kit released some time ago, but the retention of all the original detail means modelers are in for a real treat! As with the original conversion, it’s essentially a donor Panzer IV turret placed on a Berge-Panther chassis. Because the turret is fixed, there’s no rear stowage bin or rear armor. This allows the vehicle’s engine hatches to be shown open. In addition, the track links are made from DS for maximum detail. All the appropriate characteristics of this rather special conversion are present, and it will have 1/72 scale model-makers purring with pleasure. Per saperne di più
  3. "Defense of the Reich" w/Gen 2 Gear

The quartet is notable in the variety of uniforms, accoutrements and weapons that they possess. No longer were they wearing the orderly and well-tailored field gray uniforms of the blitzkrieg period. Instead, the soldiers in this set here wear camouflage smocks, a Fallschirmjäger jumpsuit and even one in a special Hitler Jugend (“Hitler Youth”) winter uniform. Their collection of weapons also reflects the frenetic late-war period. In evidence there’s an MP 44 assault rifle, Kar 98k rifle, Gewehr 43 semi-automatic rifle and FG 42 rifle as used by elite paratroopers. The HJ member is also carrying a Panzerfaust 100m, a single-shot anti-tank rocket produced in quantity from September 1944 onwards. These varied figures offer unlimited utility for creators of dioramas and vignettes. Sharply sculpted in realistic poses, these well-researched figures reflect the desperate final months of WWII. 4. Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf. J Late Production

Exhaust pipes w/hollow ends Engine deck realistically presented w/tow cables Two types of cooling-air intakes are provided w/without air-intake grill Slide-molded hydraulic shock absorbers are crisply molded One-piece detailed DS tracks The Panzer III helped form the backbone of Germany's vaunted Panzer divisions, especially in the earlier stages of WWII. To keep this medium tank competitive on the battlefield, it received a number of improvements in armor and armament throughout its life. The Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.J, manufactured between March 1941 and July 1942, was the first model to feature 50mm-thick basic frontal armor. The rear and engine deck were also redesigned owing to the hull being lengthened. Late-Production models of the Ausf.J received the longer and more effective 5cm KwK38 gun of L/60 caliber. A total of 1,549 tanks of this mark were produced, ensuring it was widely used on both the Eastern Front and in North Africa. Dragon's brand new 1/72 scale kit of a Panzer III Ausf.J depicts a Late-Production variant. Utilizing developments and research from an earlier 1/35 scale Smart Kit counterpart, this model is another masterpiece of engineering and design. It's replete with a sizzling level of detail. This Panzer III J is fully detailed yet it offers a good balance of easy assembly through such features as DS tracks. The Ausf.J's use against T-34s and KV-1 tanks in Russia, or Grants and Valentines on North Africa's battlefields, provides modelers with ample inspiration in portraying this tank in a diorama. Modelers are supported by a selection of high-quality decal markings, making this indeed an exciting new Panzer III kit from Dragon! Per saperne di più

  7. Gebirgsjäger Defense Gustav Line 1944
    12,00 €

    Non disponibile

Dragon’s newest 1/35 scale figure set depicts some German defenders of the Gustav Line. The set has four Gebirgsjäger, or mountain infantrymen/soldiers. Gebirgsjäger were specialist troops trained to operate in alpine areas. Their famous emblem is the edelweiss. These soldiers acquitted themselves well in Italy’s mountainous terrain, with the 5th Gebirgs-Division, for example, fighting in Italy from April 1943 through to the end of the war. Each of the mountain soldiers in the box is dressed in appropriate winter attire, and is vividly posed in a combat scenario. The set includes several unique pieces of equipment - one is newly tooled Mauser G41(M) semi-automatic rifle, while another is a brand new field telephone. For greater versatility, the signal gun held by one soldier can be shown being loaded with a flare cartridge. These four Gebirgsjäger are engaged in desperate defense of the Gustav Line in Italy, but they can also be adapted to any action selected by the modeler! A special feature of this set is a brand new sprue containing German gear such as ammo pouches, water bottles, bread bags plus standard weapons like the MP-40, Kar98K, MG34 and MG42. This new sprue sets a benchmark and standardizes what items will appear in other German figure sets from now on. Per saperne di più

The latest item is a Type 95 Ha-Go light tank. Introduced into service in 1936, this armored vehicle weighing just 7.4 tonnes was designed primarily as an infantry support weapon. Indeed, it was the most common light tank used by the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA), with about 2,300 units manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. It had a crew of three, and the main armament was a Type 94 37mm gun. Its maximum speed was 45km/h. The Type 95 Ha-Go participated in the Soviet-Japanese Border Wars that simmered along the Manchurian border in the 1930s. For example, a total of 35 Type 95 tanks from the 4th Tank Regiment of the 1st Tank Corps participated in the Battle of Khalkhin Gol in July 1939. This 1/72 scale model allows modelers to represent a Ha-Go tank involved in this combat against Russia in northern China in 1939. The model makes widespread use of slide molds for elements such as the lower hull. The kit fits together with precision, and fine details such as a hollowed-out exhaust pipe are included. Furthermore, the kit offers a photo-etched exhaust muffler cover. This Type 95 Tank possesses some recognizable characteristics, including retooled running gear that features an additional road wheel between the main road wheels. The tiny track links are also accurately replicated in miniature. Although small, this interesting Japanese tank model builds up into an extremely well-detailed replica of a vehicle that fought against Russia in 1939. Per saperne di più

  10. Stu.Pz.IV Brummbär Mid-Production
    50,00 €

    Non disponibile

Dragon has followed up its earlier Mid-Production 1/35 scale kit of the Brummbär with another kit from the same period, though one featuring a coating of Zimmerit. Anti-magnetic layers of Zimmerit were applied to all vehicles prior to September 1944, so this inclusion makes the kit historically accurate. Modelers will also know that applying Zimmerit to a model is fraught with all kinds of challenges. Dragon’s latest kit thus offers convenience and accuracy, for the injection-molded texture and pattern is beautifully rendered using Dragon’s patented Zimmerit technique. This is obvious in the unique radial Zimmerit pattern on the front of the multi-directional slide-molded superstructure, for example. The kit incorporates separate metal side skirt elements that provide true-to-scale thickness and can be arranged to a modeler’s preferences. The brand new one-piece 40cm DS tracks were also especially prepared for the Mid-Production Brummbär. The distinctive Brummbär appeared in such battles as Kursk, Anzio, Normandy, Ardennes and the Warsaw Uprising, so it gives model-makers ample scope. For sheer convenience, this Brummbär with Zimmerit offers unparalleled firepower and impact! Per saperne di più
