    15,00 €

Features: Intricate Sd.Kfz.261 newly produced Preformed frame and mast antennas Tow hook molded on both front and rear of the vehicle Finely molded one-piece hull w/fine detail Intricate external stowage included Chassis presented in full detail Delicate wheels w/authentic tire tread pattern Hull-top cover assembled from separate parts Spare wheels included Finely molded jerry can included Dragon has been constantly expanding its popular 1/72 scale range of model Leichter Panzerspahwagen light reconnaissance vehicles. An Sd.Kfz.260 was released a short time ago, and now Dragon is offering yet another interesting variant. This time it is an Sd.Kfz.261. The Sd.Kfz.260 and 261 were similar in that they were both designed for signals units, with a total of 493 produced from November 1940 through till April 1943. They were designed specifically as armored (but unarmed) radio communication vehicles. The Sd.Kfz.261 was fitted with a FuG.12 long-range radio set connected to a frame antenna and also a telescopic antenna. In due course the Sd.Kfz.260/261 family was replaced by halftrack radio vehicles. Dragon's 1/72 scale model makes use of the newly tooled Sd.Kfz.260. It has brand new parts such as the frame antenna and the exquisitely produced telescopic antenna mounted on the left side of the hull. These radio components provide the Sd.Kfz.261 with a unique silhouette and cause it to really stand out from other members of the Leichter Panzerspahwagen family. The hull-top opening is made of plastic, this material being much easier to work with than photo-etched parts. After painting in appropriate colors, modelers can apply Cartograf high-quality decals to finish off their distinctive-looking Sd.Kfz.261! Per saperne di più
  2. Flakpanzer 341 mit 2cm Flakvierling
    20,00 €

Features: New 2cm MG 151/20 Flak cannons can be adjusted to different elevations Hollow cannon muzzles Delicate cupola molded on Flakpanzer 341 Detailed design for rear plate and stowage boxes Engine deck w/delicate details Armored side skirts reproduced Slide-molded upper hull w/full detail Intricate road wheels One-piece DS tracks At the start of WWII the Luftwaffe ruled the skies, but this dominance was gradually overturned as the war progressed. This led to a dire need for more antiaircraft vehicles for ground forces, and early efforts at producing a Flakpanzer centered on utilizing the Panzer IV chassis. However, the famous German Panther medium tank was also used as a platform for developmental work, with the Coelian perhaps being the best-known example. In May 1943, a proposed Rheinmetall design showed two pairs of Vierling MG151/20 antiaircraft cannons mounted in a Turm Panther II. This turret was heavily armored and it featured the pairs of cannons offset from each other and mounted at different heights. This Flakpanther 341 mit 2cm Flakvierling design never advanced much further…except in terms of Dragon’s superb new 1/72 scale plastic kit! The kit uses the finely detailed chassis of previous kits, to which are added a brand new turret and flak cannons. Parts fit together accurately, as is to be expected of Dragon’s high engineering standards. Although this particular antiaircraft vehicle never entered production, it makes for a fascinating modeling subject that gives plenty of scope for customization and creativity. For starters, it can be painted in an intriguing camouflage scheme! Per saperne di più

Features: - New photo-etched rocket crates - 28cm incrediary projectiles (x6) included - Three mounting plates accurately reproduced in different pattern - Delicate launcher frames with subtle details - Road wheels injected as a unit - convenient to assemble and saves time - Photo-etched parts upgrading details - Cartograf decal offers accurate marking - DS one-pieces tracks Germany’s Sd.Kfz. 251 halftrack series proved highly versatile throughout WWII, and numerous variants were produced over the course of its life. One version was the Stuka zu Fuss mounting the Wurfrahmen 40 rocket launcher system, ideal for providing a heavy bombardment capability to panzergrenadier units. Dragon is now going to release such a vehicle in Ausf.D version. The Ausf. D hull featured a simplified construction, thus making production easier for Germany’s overstrained industry. This 1/72 scale Sd.Kfz. 251 halftrack model is highly detailed with accurate dimensions. The six rocket launcher frames mounted on the hull are reproduced by new photo-etched parts. The Stuka zu Fuss offered a heavy weapon to German motorized units, and Dragon's offers modelers an excellent new choice in halftracks! This existing release provides some serious firepower to modelers. Per saperne di più
  4. German Sd.Kfz.223 Leichter Panzerspahwagen
    17,00 €

    - Newly tooled Sd.Kfz.223 Leichte Panzerspa"hwagen delicately produced - Realistic bed-frame antenna included - Finely molded hull w/detail - Full fighting comaprtment w/detail - Finely-molded jerry cans included - Delicate MG 34 included - Photo-etched turret shields can be assembled open/closed - Chassis presented in full details - On-vehicle tools sharply produced - Intricate external stowage included - Realistic-looking headlamps included - Well-shaped driver's seat - Delicate wheels w/authentic tread pattern Earlier in 2011 Dragon released a 1/72 scale plastic kit of the Sd.Kfz.222 Leichter Panzerspa"hwagen. This little German 4x4 armored car was used for reconnaissance purposes. Early in WWII, the Sd.Kz.221 family performed well enough as reconnaissance vehicles for panzer divisions, although their off-road capability let them down. Now Dragon is offering another vehicle in the family – the Sd.Kfz.223, which was basically a modified Sd.Kfz.221 with a long-range radio set. Its function is belied by the prominent frame antenna that was mounted above the hull. This radio allowed it to stay in touch with roving reconnaissance vehicles on the battlefield. A total of 550 Sd.Kfz.223 vehicles were made between 1935 and 1944. As on the Sd.Kfz.221, a machine gun was installed in the small turret. The new Sd.Kfz.223 kit features new parts to create this specific variant. For example, the upper hull is a completely new item. The turret and rectangular antenna are obviously new too. The kit makes use of Dragon’s highest engineering expertise, meaning the armored radio car is well designed and easily assembled despite its diminutive size in this scale. The mesh that covers the turret is supplied as a photo-etched part so that it remains true to scale. Adding to its appeal is a set of jerry cans that can be stowed on the nose of the vehicle to give it longer range when performing recces. This little reconnaissance vehicle is the perfect vehicle to stay in touch with the Sd.Kfz.222s that modelers may already have in their reconnaissance forces! Per saperne di più
  5. Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) Patrol Car w/Lewis Gun

Newly tooled LRDG patrol car Sand channel molded on side of vehicle Detailed dashboard & driver's compartment Accurately shaped front fenders w/details Slide-molded chassis Well-defined wheels w/authentic tire tread pattern Wheels are produced in separate parts Spare wheel included in rear compartment Realistic Lewis gun produced Intricate engine grille POW cans included Delicate spade reproduced Lee-Enfield rifles mounted beside driver's cab Rolled tarpaulins w/detachable brackets fitted on front fenders The Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) was a highly effective unit that roved far behind enemy lines in North Africa during WWII. It gathered intelligence, performed reconnaissance and conducted attacks from mid-1940 through to April 1943. Yet the elite unit never exceeded 350 men in strength at any one time. To successfully negotiate the desert sands, the LRDG used vehicles such as the Willys Jeep and other stripped-down trucks. Perhaps the vehicle most readily associated with the LRDG is the two-wheel-drive patrol car. It entered service in March 1942 and it became an LRDG mainstay. The sturdy Canadian-manufactured vehicles carried sand channels, jerry cans, a sun compass, sometimes a wireless, improved radiator cooling system and low-pressure desert tires. They were fitted with weapons such as Lewis guns, Vickers medium machine guns and the Vickers K. Dragon has produced an all-new 1/72 scale plastic model of a typical-looking vehicle operating with the famous LRDG. The model utilizes brand new toolings, with the chassis made as a single piece. Upon this chassis is assembled a slide-molded front body that has integral fenders and front grill. This single component accurately depicts the well-known front end of this truck type. The rear body is also made as a one-piece component for easy assembly and accurate alignment. The extra-large10.50 x 20 sand tires are crisply detailed, and the appropriate tread pattern is finely replicated. This is an exciting 1/72 model kit from Dragon, and the truck would make a perfect centerpiece of a dynamic diorama set in North Africa. Per saperne di più
  6. IJN Type 2 Ka-Mi w/Floating Pontoon Amphibious Tank
    18,00 €

The "Ka Mi" was the first amphibious tank used by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN). It was designed for Japanese landing forces performing amphibious invasions of Pacific islands not possessing regular port facilities. Production of the Type 2 commenced in 1942 and a total of 184 amphibious tanks were made. When used in water, large pontoons were attached to the glacis plate and rear deck to give it a top speed of 10km/h in water. These pontoons could be shed as soon as the vehicle reached land. Based on the Type 2 "Ka-Mi" released, brand new parts consists of the special set of floating pontoons (early production), conning tower and hydroscope on turret. Slide molds are widely employed, with upper hull and lower hull components both made as single pieces, for example. The kit is closely based on measurements taken from a surviving Type 2 tank on Palau to ensure this kit is accurately dimensioned. The "Ka-Mi" also includes DS tracks for easy assembly of the complicated track links. The previous Type 2 kit was a huge success, and this version with the amphibious kit offers so much more by allowing modelers to depict it in a scenario where the tank is seen wading ashore. All in all, this is a swimmingly good kit! Per saperne di più

It gathered intelligence, performed reconnaissance and conducted attacks from mid-1940 through to April 1943. Yet the elite unit never exceeded 350 men at any one time. To successfully negotiate the desert, the LRDG used vehicles such as the two-wheel-drive truck. The truck entered service in March 1942 and these sturdy vehicles carried sand channels, jerry cans, a sun compass, sometimes a wireless, improved radiator cooling system and low-pressure desert tires. They were fitted with weapons such as Lewis guns, Vickers medium machine guns and the Vickers K. Some were even fitted with 2cm guns that had been captured from Italian forces. It was a 20mm antiaircraft gun widely used by Italy in WWII. Of course, the 330kg weapon could also be used against ground targets. Dragon earlier produced an all-new 1/72 scale plastic model of a standard LRDG patrol truck (Item No.7439). This proved a very popular subject, particularly for those interested in the North African theater of combat. That model utilized brand new toolings, with a single-piece chassis and a slide-molded front body with integral fenders and front grill. Now the kit has been joined by a truck that boasts even more firepower. All new for this kit is an intricate replica of the 2cm gun. The detailed weapon fits onto the rear body, which is a one-piece component for easy assembly and accurate alignment. The extra-large 10.50 x 20 sand tires are crisply detailed too. This is an exciting 1/72 model kit from Dragon, and it will make the perfect companion for the standard LRDG patrol truck as they roam the sands of North Africa! Per saperne di più

Features: - Realistic Churchill Mk.IV new production - Cupola can be assembled open/closed - Hatches on turret can be assembled open/closed - Inlet louvre molded w/detailed pattern - Slide-molded turret for Churchill Mk.IV - Intricate tools molded on vehicle - Side fenders w/pattern detail on both surfaces - One-piece gun barrel w/detailed hollow muzzle brake - One-piece slide-molded lower hull - Bolts and rivets delicately represented on hull bottom - Idler and sprocket wheels are authentic and easy to assemble - One-piece DS track - One-piece bogies produced for easy assembly Dragon has a brand new plastic kit in its exciting collection, one that will have model fans excited. The new 1/72 scale item is a British tank – the famous Churchill. The Churchill, referred to officially as the Tank, Infantry, Mk IV (A22), was named after the British prime minister at the time of its design in WWII. The tank was heavily armored and it featured a long chassis with long track runs that enabled it to cross difficult terrain. The first Churchills were hastily churning off Vauxhall production lines in June 1941, within a year of the tank’s design in the aftermath of the humiliating Allied defeat in Europe. Dragon’s model portrays a Churchill Mk IV tank, a variant that featured a cast turret instead of the all-welded turret found on the visually similar Mk III. Its main armament was a QF 6 pounder gun. Weighing in at approximately 40 tonnes, the Churchill had a particularly slow top speed. The Mk IV was the most numerically common model of the Churchill, with 1,622 tanks produced. As the first Churchill kit from Dragon, the tank utilizes brand new moldings. Slide molds allow the upper hull and lower hull to each be made in one piece. This makes construction more straightforward and accurate. The suspension on the Churchill is complicated, but the kit designers have cleverly engineered the suspension system in a way that’s easy to assemble. The cast turret is made in one piece via multi-directional slide molds, and it perfectly captures the five-sided shape of the Mk IV turret. The muzzle of the 6 pounder gun is hollow thanks also to slide molding. The tracks are made of DS, adding to the appeal of a model that’s easy to assemble and one that builds into an authentic-looking Churchill Mk IV! Per saperne di più
  10. Sd.Kfz.260
    15,00 €

Features: Newly tooled Sd.Kfz.260 delicately produced Intricate external stowage included Tow hook molded on both front and rear of the vehicle Finely molded hull w/detail produced in one-piece Chassis presented in full details Delicate wheels w/authentic tire tread pattern Turret shields assembled in separate parts Spare wheels included Finely molded jerry can included Dragon has just extended its 1/72 scale range of model Leichter Panzerspa"hwagen light reconnaissance vehicles. The new family member is the Sd.Kfz.260. Like other types such as the Sd.Kfz.222 and Sd.Kfz.223, this particular variant was based on an Auto-Union 801 chassis and it was powered by a Horch 8-cylinder engine. The Sd.Kfz.260 was designed specifically as an armored, but unarmed, radio communication vehicle. Some 493 examples were produced from 1940 till 1943. Used by signals units, they provided mobility and some degree of protection. A standard crew comprised four soldiers, and the little vehicle was capable of reaching speeds of 85km/h and it had a range of 310km. The 3,815kg Sd.Kfz.260 was fitted with an Fu.7 medium-range radio set connected to a rod antenna. The Sd.Kfz.260 was eventually replaced in service by halftrack radio vehicles. Dragon’s 1/72 scale model is newly tooled. While it’s based on the previously released Sd.Kfz.222, it has brand new parts such as its entire upper hull. Because some details are different to existing Sd.Kfz.222/223 kits, Dragon created a completely new one-piece slide-molded upper hull. The machine gun turret has also been replaced - the framework over the hull-top opening is made of plastic, this being much easier to work with than photo-etched parts. There is also a brand new storage box, jack and reworked fenders. The rod antenna is also finely produced. After painting in appropriate camouflage colors, modelers can apply Cartograf high-quality decals to finish off their new Sd.Kfz.260! Per saperne di più
