22,00 €IS-2 Mod 1944 100% NUOVO STAMPO - LA SCATOLA CONTIENE 1 MODELLO E 1 SOLDATO WWll VEICOLO MILITARE RUSSO (28 mm) - ASSEMBLAGGIO FACILITATO PER GIOCATORI E COLLEZIONISTI Nel febbraio del 1943, per sostituire gli ormai superati KV, vennero prodotti i primi esemplari prototipali di carri pesanti destinati ad equipaggiare i reparti corazzati dell’Armata Rossa. Il più noto dei carri realizzati per contrastare i nuovi e pesantemente corazzati mezzi tedeschi fu il Joseph Stalin JS-2. Armato con il potente cannone da 122 mm D-25T installato nella torretta montata in posizione centrale si caratterizzava per lo scafo in acciaio fuso, per la pesante blindatura e per l’adozione del motore diesel a 12 cilindri da oltre 600 HP. Il peso complessivo del carro era di 46 tonnellate. Venne impiegato negli scontri che hanno portato alla riconquista dell’Ucraina, alle attività operative in Ungheria e, nella fase finale del conflitto, durante la battaglia di Berlino. It featured a simple cast glacis plate. Elite Soviet Guards heavy tank regiments used the IS-2 extensively in the assaults on the fortress cities of Budapest, Breslau, and Berlin. These vehicles featured thick white stripes for quick identification by other Soviet tank crews. This vehicle, a tank of the 7th Guards Independent Heavy Tank Brigade, was made famous in a photo taken in front of the iconic Brandenburg Gate in the heart of Berlin. Per saperne di più
