Dragon is releasing a 1/35 scale figure set depicting this battle. The four soldiers are French infantrymen, making this Dragon’s first WWII French infantry subject! The set depicts four Frenchmen defending their positions on the outskirts of Sedan. They wear typical uniforms of the day, and carry suitable weapons such as the Fusil mitrailleur modèle 1924 M29 (FM 24/29) light machine gun, plus MAS Modèle 36 rifles. One of the officers is even smoking a pipe, giving this figure a nice touch of character. The poses are well designed, and their molding is sharp and realistic. This first-ever French figure set will undoubtedly inspire modelers’ imaginations and open up a plethora of WWII diorama opportunities. Per saperne di più
  3. Flakpanzer V Coelian

Flakpanzer V Coelian Features: - Bonus Panzer Riders (set of 4 fugures) - Magic Tracks w/slide-molded guide-horn details The Panther was a hugely successful tank within the ranks of the German military during WWII. A number of variants based on the Panther were built, including the Bergepanther recovery vehicle. However, there are other lesser-known variants that didn’t enter full-series production, one of which was the Flakpanzer V. Rheinmetall-Borsig began developing this antiaircraft vehicle in December 1943. Its main armament was twin 3.7cm FlaK 43 cannons mounted in an armored turret with a full 360^(o) traverse. One other feature of the turret was that it permitted the guns to be elevated almost vertically when taking on marauding enemy aircraft. The official designation of the vehicle was Flakpanzer 341, but it was commonly referred to as the Flakpanzer V “Coelian”. Dragon has released a 1/35 scale kit of “Coelian” before, but now it has become more attractive than ever! As an Orange Box item, the kit has been upgraded. The kit is equipped with a new set of Panther Magic Tracks, but most useful of all perhaps is the inclusion of a set of figures. The 1/35 figure set is a set of four German tank riders. They are totally suited to the vehicle, for they are late-war figures designed specially to fit on a Panther engine deck. With the bundled figures, this Flakpanzer V “Coelian” is an extremely attractive proposition that comes at a very reasonable price. Per saperne di più
  4. Advance to Kharkov 1942
    14,00 €

Dragon’s new box of figures represents four German soldiers during this decisive battle of 1942. It shows soldiers preparing to move forward to join the battle in the vicinity of Kharkov, and they wear typical uniform and paraphernalia relating to this period of 1942. Three of the figures wear standard Wehrmacht uniforms, while the fourth member of the party belongs to a Luftwaffe ground unit. They carry a variety of weapons, including a gunner with an MG34. Around his neck is slung a pair of drum magazines for his weapon. Indeed, all their weapons and personal equipment are produced to Gen2 standard. While the figures are linked directly to the Kharkov fighting, they still remain versatile enough to be used in a multitude of other settings as well. Thus, these finely posed figures are readymade for a creative German vignette. Per saperne di più
  5. WW.II German LAH 1stSS Panzergrenadiers Set w/Sd.Kfz.251/7 Ausf.D Ardennes
    18,00 €

    Non disponibile

Dragon’s newest 1/72 scale kit set features an Sd.Kfz.251/7 Ausf.D and four German panzergrenadiers. As far as possible, this set reflects the original scenes photographed on 18 December 1944. The four figures are completely new toolings, and benefit from the level of detail that was incorporated in their 1/35 scale ‘brothers’. The grenadiers are depicted enjoying a cigarette in a lull after their successful ambush. Each is well researched and sculpted to carry as much detail as possible in this scale, with a great variety shown in their uniform items. The soldiers are accompanied by the Pioneer variant of the famous Sd.Kfz.251 halftrack, complete with assault-bridge sections. This kit is finely detailed, and offers possibilities such as the rear doors or vision ports being left open or closed. Convenience has been guaranteed with features such as DS tracks and road wheels that are molded as a set. This novel set recreates the events of that historic day in this otherwise obscure Belgian village! In a desperate last gamble, Hitler sent massed German units through the forested Ardennes terrain in an attack against Allied forces in the Battle of the Bulge. One small event that played out during the epic battle was the fighting in the small Belgian village of Poteau, a junction where the roads from Recht and St Vith meet en route to Vielsalm. On 17 December 1944 this village was the site of a huge traffic bottleneck as American troops moved to take up defensive positions while stragglers retreated from the fighting. Kampfgruppe Hansen attacked and captured the village on the morning of 18 December, and later that day the German soldiers succeeded in ambushing a convoy from the U.S. 14th Cavalry Group. What made this event famous were the numerous movies and photos taken by German propaganda cameramen on that occasion. Per saperne di più

Known today as the Battle of Bulge, the aim was to split British and American forces in half and drive all the way to Antwerp. Panzer Brigade 150 had a role in this plan. This formation was supposed to create surprise and confusion with clandestine armored vehicles! It included five Panther Ausf.G tanks physically disguised and painted to resemble U.S. Army M10 tank destroyers. Modifications included removal of the Panther cupola and stowage boxes on the rear of the hull. Sheet metal on the hull front, turret and turret overhang was fabricated to disguise the form of the Panther. The transformation was completed with an olive drab paint scheme and Allied stars painted on the turret and glacis. This handful of vehicles was designated Ersatz (i.e. 'substitute') M10. Dragon has produced an amazing 1/72 scale kit of these Ersatz M10 vehicles. This is the first time this unique tank has been created in plastic in this scale. The kit is based on Dragon’s Panther Ausf.G, but the original Panther incorporates a host of new items to suit this Ersatz M10. The turret and the upper hull are brand new, made by slide mold. This long-awaited item is an icon of the Battle of Bulge, and will surely produce an authentic Ardennes diorama together with various items stemming from the Battle of the Bulge Dragon released before. 9. Jagdpanzer 38 Mid Production

Jagdpanzer 38 Mid Production. Cyber-Hobby is announcing another fantastic Orange Box combo featuring WWII German items from its popular 1/35 scale series. The set features a Hetzer Mid-Production tank destroyer along with a set of Waffen SS soldiers. The Jagdpanzer 38(t), a replacement for the Marder family, was based on the Czech Panzer 38(t) chassis, and it was low-slung and had well-sloped armor. Production of an eventual 2,584 Hetzers commenced in April 1944. Dragon’s rendition of this Hetzer disappeared from retailers’ shelves a long time ago, so this release should be most welcome. The accompanying figure set represents elite German soldiers fighting in the Battle of the Bulge, which occurred in the densely forested Ardennes region from 16 December 1944 to 25 January 1945. Germany assembled 13 divisions, including more than 340 tanks, for the beginning of this all-out assault that took the Allies completely by surprise. The Ardennes Offensive was the first time the Hetzer was used in significant numbers on the Western Front, and about 170 of these tank destroyers had been deployed by the end of the campaign. This vehicle and figure combination is thus ideal for creating a wintry Battle of the Bulge scene. As is usual for an Orange Box release, the set is very competitively priced too. Per saperne di più
