Dragon’s latest 1/35 scale figure set features four soldiers who fought in this grueling battle. They may have conquered Sevastopol, but by the looks of several of these figures, the battle has certainly taken its toll on them! The plastic figures are sharply molded and they assemble to create lifelike poses. The figures range from a general with a paunch, down to a ravenous soldier of much lesser rank who is wolfing down a meal. Each figure is accompanied by Gen2 personal gear and weapons. Of note, the cigar-smoking general has a periscope mounted on a tripod. While these figures in summer uniforms relate directly to the Siege of Sevastopol, they could easily be utilized in a whole plethora of other ways. Per saperne di più
  3. Sd.Jfz.10 Ausf.A w/5cm PaK38
    45,00 €

    Non disponibile

Germany fielded a wide range of halftracks during WWII. The Sd.Kfz.10, one of the lighter types, was conceived as a prime mover for small, towed anti-tank or antiaircraft guns. Measuring 4.5m long and weighing 4.9 tonnes, this Demag-designed vehicle had a payload capacity of 1 ton or eight troops. Power came from a Maybach 6-cylinder engine coupled to a transmission with seven forward and three reverse gears. Noteworthy is the fact that this halftrack type was the only one to employ a hull rather than a frame. Demag delivered the first vehicles in 1938, but eventually seven factories were involved in producing approximately 14,000 examples. One of the weapons it regularly towed was the 5cm PaK38 anti-tank gun, which was first used by German forces on the Eastern Front in 1941 to combat the formidable threat of the T-34 and KV-1. The gun remained in service for the rest of the war. This 1/35 scale Dragon kit does not feature any newly tooled parts. Instead, what sets it apart is the excellent and practical combination that mates a delightful Sd.Kfz.10 Ausf.A halftrack with Dragon’s legendary 5cm PaK38 anti-tank gun. Essentially, it’s two complete kits in one box! The halftrack, as with earlier releases, features a complete interior, as well as internal components like the engine and gearbox. Another attractive point is that the PaK38 gun comes with an extra third wheel, which allows the cannon to be depicted in a scene where the gun crew is manhandling the gun into position. This is a spectacular little halftrack towing some serious firepower, and it’s certainly a versatile and convenient addition to Dragon’s Sd.Kfz.10 family. Per saperne di più
  4. Jagdpanther Ausf.G1 Early Production w/Zimmerit
    50,00 €

Dragon has created an Early Production (i.e. G1) version of the Jagdpanther in 1/35 scale. As such it has the smaller internally bolted mantlet, a monobloc gun barrel and an engine deck based on that of the Panther Ausf.A. The aforementioned mantlet is produced by a four-directional slide mold that bears a realistic cast texture. What sets this latest release apart is its coat of Zimmerit, which was applied to Jagdpanthers up till September 1944. The typical square-pattern Zimmerit is astonishingly rendered in 1/35 scale. Zimmerit is also correctly pre-molded on the lower hull, saving modelers the burden of this undertaking. Even the stowage boxes at the rear of the hull receive a Zimmerit layer. To finish off this fine Jagdpanther, Dragon has supplied two complete runs of easy-to-assemble DS Tracks suitable for this Early Production variant. Thanks to its molded-on Zimmerit, this Jagdpanther will save modelers hours of putty hassles. Indeed this “hunting cat” is ready to spring into a suitable diorama or display case. Per saperne di più

The new 1/72 scale item is a British tank – the famous Churchill. The Churchill, referred to officially as the Tank, Infantry, Mk IV (A22), was named after the British prime minister at the time of its design in WWII. The tank was heavily armored and it featured a long chassis with long track runs that enabled it to cross difficult terrain. The first Churchills were hastily churning off Vauxhall production lines in June 1941, within a year of the tank’s design in the aftermath of the humiliating Allied defeat in Europe. Dragon’s model portrays a Churchill Mk IV tank, a variant that featured a cast turret instead of the all-welded turret found on the visually similar Mk III. Its main armament was a QF 6 pounder gun. Weighing in at approximately 40 tonnes, the Churchill had a particularly slow top speed. The Mk IV was the most numerically common model of the Churchill, with 1,622 tanks produced. As the first Churchill kit from Dragon, the tank utilizes brand new moldings. Slide molds allow the upper hull and lower hull to each be made in one piece. This makes construction more straightforward and accurate. The suspension on the Churchill is complicated, but the kit designers have cleverly engineered the suspension system in a way that’s easy to assemble. The cast turret is made in one piece via multi-directional slide molds, and it perfectly captures the five-sided shape of the Mk IV turret. The muzzle of the 6 pounder gun is hollow thanks also to slide molding. The tracks are made of DS, adding to the appeal of a model that’s easy to assemble and one that builds into an authentic-looking Churchill Mk IV! Per saperne di più

Features: - Intricate Panzerbuchse 39 and Granatbuchse 39 w/bipods produced - Gun barrel w/hollow muzzle - Realistic 2.7cm Sturmpistole produced w/bolt mechanism - Adjustable cradle can be assembled in folding or taxing position - Detachable ammunition box - Delicate ammo included - Ammunition box can be assembled open/closed Dragon has released a new set in its 1/6 scale range of weapons. The latest item features two complete antitank rifles that were used especially in the early days of WWII. One is the PzB 39 (the abbreviation stands for Panzerbuchse 39, or “armor-hunting rifle”). The PzB 39 was supposed to give infantrymen a lightweight weapon with which to tackle enemy tanks. It was 1.62m long and it weighed 12.6kg. By the time of the invasion of Russian in 1941, a total of 25,298 PzB 39s were in the hands of the infantry. It continued in use until 1944, but by then it was hopelessly outclassed when trying to penetrate thick enemy armor. One variant of the PzB 39 antitank rifle was the Granatbuchse 39 (GrB 39), this being a rifle grenade launcher created from 1942 onwards. The barrel was shortened and a firing cup attachment was threaded on. The GrB 39 could fire the same type of anti-personnel, light antitank and large-diameter antitank grenades used with the standard Kar 98k rifle. Both these weapons are contained in this kit set. They are made according to Dragon’s exacting standards in a precise 1/6 scale. Parts are cleverly broken down into components that assemble easily to produce an accurate replica of the PzB 39 and GrB 39. As a special bonus, this set also comes with a third weapon. The bonus weapon is a 2.7cm Sturmpistole, also referred to as a Walther Leuchtpistole. It was designed to fire small specially designed high-explosive grenades. It was fitted with a padded stock to reduce the shock on the firer’s arm. This light weapon was widely used, particularly on the Eastern Front, for anti-personnel duties. This 1/6 model, like the larger weapons, is highly detailed, and it smoothly goes together to produce a very interesting miniature weapon. Per saperne di più
