    50,00 €

Interestingly, this is also the very first 1/35 scale Tiger I Mid-Production type to appear in a Dragon box. The Tiger I is an iconic tank of WWII, and its legendary status extends well beyond the limited number of 1,355 that were built. Building upon Dragon’s masterly 1/35 Tiger kits previously released, this newest big cat comes with a full coating of Zimmerit produced to an extremely high quality in terms of the pattern and scale effect. The unique Zimmerit texture is different to that found on Late Tiger. The kit receives many new parts such as the turret, upper hull, rear plate and road wheels so it can accurately depict a Mid-Production variant. To ease assembly, the tank includes convenient DS tracks. This is truly a masterpiece that blends computerized technology with the touch of a skilled sculptor. This big cat is ready to prowl a diorama scene or to grace a display shelf! Per saperne di più

Dragon has created an Early Production (i.e. G1) version of the Jagdpanther in 1/35 scale. As such it has the smaller internally bolted mantlet, a monobloc gun barrel and an engine deck based on that of the Panther Ausf.A. The aforementioned mantlet is produced by a four-directional slide mold that bears a realistic cast texture. What sets this latest release apart is its coat of Zimmerit, which was applied to Jagdpanthers up till September 1944. The typical square-pattern Zimmerit is astonishingly rendered in 1/35 scale. Zimmerit is also correctly pre-molded on the lower hull, saving modelers the burden of this undertaking. Even the stowage boxes at the rear of the hull receive a Zimmerit layer. To finish off this fine Jagdpanther, Dragon has supplied two complete runs of easy-to-assemble DS Tracks suitable for this Early Production variant. Thanks to its molded-on Zimmerit, this Jagdpanther will save modelers hours of putty hassles. Indeed this “hunting cat” is ready to spring into a suitable diorama or display case. Per saperne di più

The Type 2 was the first amphibious tank used by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN). It was designed for Japanese landing forces performing amphibious invasions of Pacific islands that didn’t have regular port facilities. Production commenced in 1942 and a total of 184 Type 2 amphibious tanks were made, although the design was too late to participate in Japan’s island-hopping campaign. When used in water, large pontoons were attached to the glacis plate and rear deck to give it a top speed of 10km/h. These pontoons could be shed as soon as it reached land. The turret featured a 3.7cm Type 1 gun and coaxial Type 97 machine gun. Dragon’s 1/72 scale kit uses 100% new toolings. Fully utilizing Dragon’s technological expertise, the result is another masterpiece of accurate kit engineering. The upper hull and lower hull components are both made as single pieces thanks to the employment of slide molds. The kit is closely based on measurements taken from a surviving tank on Peleliu (present-day Palau). This ensures that the kit of the Type 2 tank without its flotation pontoons is accurately dimensioned. The Ka-Mi also includes DS tracks for easy assembly of the complicated track links. This is a swimmingly good kit, a fitting counterpart to its larger 1/35 brother! Per saperne di più

One method of improving this situation was to develop the 2cm FlaK 38, which had a rate of fire of 220 rpm. However, this was still insufficient, and so Rheinmetall combined four 20mm cannons onto a single mount. The resulting weapon, known as the Flakvierling 38, then produced a practical rate of fire of 800 rpm. Produced from 1940 onwards by Mauser, the 1509kg weapon was usually operated by a crew of eight men. Of course, the 2cm Flakvierling 38 could be employed against ground targets as effectively as against low-flying aircraft too. Dragon has already created a 1/6 scale kit of the 2cm FlaK 38, and this single-barreled antiaircraft cannon was heartily welcomed by big-scale model fans. Now Dragon has produced in the same scale a new kit of the four-barreled Flakvierling 38, a subject which will be no less popular. The armored gun shield is made in a true-to-scale thickness, and the triangular gun platform is fully detailed. The 2cm cannons can be elevated or traversed according to the modeler’s wishes, and of course appropriate figures can be added to form a diorama. This four-barreled German cannon is ready to take on any enemy aircraft foolhardy enough to venture anywhere near it! Per saperne di più
