  2. 7.5cm PaK 40/4 auf RSO mit Allwetterverdeck
    47,00 €

Dragon’s new 1/35 scale model depicts a 7.5cm PaK 40/4 auf RSO vehicle. What differentiates it from an earlier release is the inclusion of a special canvas cover to protect the fighting compartment. Given the harsh winter conditions the vehicle was expected to operate in, this canvas cover was much welcomed by crews. Of course, the canvas also helped disguise the true potent nature of the vehicle’s weapon system. The tarpaulin is made of DS, the perfect medium to capture the cover’s wrinkles and texture. Other brand new parts on the kit are the seats and PaK pedestal/mount. For those wishing to create an Eastern Front diorama scene, this RSO and its secretive firepower will be irresistible! Main Features: - Newly tooled top plate for welded turret NEW TOOLING - New cupola with fine details NEW - Hatches can be assembled in open/closed position - Upper hull with precise engine deck details - Correct mantlet is accurately rendered - One-piece DS track links - One-piece road wheel, idler and sprocket wheel for easy assembly - Cartograf decal offers variety of markings About the T-34 kit: One problem with early T-34 tanks was the inadequate protection given to commanders in their turrets. They had to open their large, unwieldy hatches and look over or around them in order to gain situational awareness. Obviously, this exposed them to a great deal of peril on the battlefield. The T-34/76 Mod. 1943 tank provided the commander with a cupola for the first time, offering the commander all-round vision from within the safety of his turret. Per saperne di più

In fact, a whole family of vehicles was based on the Sd.Kfz.231 8-Rad ("eight-wheel") design. This type of heavy armored car was ordered in 1934, and one of its special features was its chassis that featured 8-wheel drive and 8-wheel steering. This chassis was produced by Bussing-NAG and it offered good cross-country mobility. There were dual driver's controls, which meant the vehicle could drive rapidly in either direction if it came under attack. The 8.3-ton Sd.Kfz.231 was built from 1936 through till May 1942, with some 607 vehicles produced in all (including the closely related Sd.Kfz.232). The Sd.Kfz.231 had a hexagonal-shaped turret mounting a 2cm KwK 30 cannon plus one MG34 machine gun. Dragon earlier released a brand new 1/72 scale plastic kit of the Sd.Kfz.232, which differed in that it was fitted with more powerful radios and a large frame antenna. Now the Armor Pro series is offering the standard Sd.Kfz.231 8-Rad. The upper and lower hull sections are made as one-piece slide-molded elements. Indeed, the upper hull is completely new, as is the hexagonal-shaped turret. Logically, most other parts stem from the earlier well-detailed Sd.Kfz.232 model. This armored car design was composed of many irregularly shaped and angled plates, so the kit obviously requires extremely precise tolerances when it fits together. Thanks to the use of CAD drawings and high-tech molding techniques, the vehicle's parts fit together flawlessly. The unique shape of this classic German 8x8 armored vehicle is beautifully captured by Dragon. Per saperne di più

One solution was to employ captured weapons, and this is exactly what the Wehrmacht did with the French Canon de 75 mode`le 1897 field gun. Hundreds of these cannons manufactured by Schneider were captured during the Polish and French campaigns in 1939-40, and were subsequently pressed into German service as howitzers. However, faced with well-armored Soviet tanks in 1941, there was a desperate need for more powerful antitank weapons. Until more 7.5cm PaK 40 cannons could be produced, an expedient solution was to place gun barrels from the French Canon de 75 mode`le 1897 onto the carriage of a PaK 38. Fitted with a muzzle brake, the resulting weapon was called the 7.5cm PaK 97/38. This hybrid weapon could be used in the antitank role because it primarily fired HEAT rounds, which didn’t rely on velocity. A total of 3700+ PaK 97/38 cannons were produced in 1942-43, and many soldiered on until late in the war. Dragon has produced a 1/6 scale kit of this important German antitank weapon. Utilizing the split-trail gun carriage and double-layered gun shield from the previously issued 1/6 scale PaK 38 5cm antitank gun, these subassemblies have been matched with a brand new barrel and muzzle brake. The round-shaped breech is also notable for being a new tooling. Modelers are able to display the gun in either towed or firing mode. Furthermore, the gun can traverse, elevate and depress just like the original. This new kit is ready to take on any type of enemy armor, and it constitutes an instant diorama if suitable figures are added. Per saperne di più

Dragon has released a new 1/35 scale figure set depicting German soldiers during Operation Marita in 1941. The four newly tooled figures are beautifully sculpted in lifelike poses. To illustrate their practicality for a range of settings, their uniforms show interesting variety such as NCO breeches and a tank commander’s jacket. Even the badges on their jackets are sharply molded. These four German soldiers will fit admirably in a figure or vehicle diorama depicting the Greek campaign, and in fact they’re versatile enough to fit any theater of that period of WWII. The Greek campaign is little covered by model figures, so this set is an invaluable addition for the modeler’s repertoire. Per saperne di più
