  1. German Wiking Division Kovel 1944
    12,00 €

    Non disponibile

Dragon’s newest 1/35 figure set depicts four German soldiers from the Wiking Division, an elite division predominantly made up of foreign volunteers. The finely detailed plastic figures are suitably posed for house-to-house fighting such as occurred in and around Kovel. Each figure is fully equipped with an assault pack (Sturmgepack) that includes personal gear and even a rolled coat. For maximum versatility, the uniforms and footwear of the four figures vary somewhat. The poses are realistic, and the soldiers could easily be transplanted into another battle in a different location. Of special interest is the machine-gunner firing his MG42 from the hip. This is a useful and practical set of 1/35 scale German soldiers, with infinite possibilities for dioramas and vignettes. Per saperne di più
  2. IJA Type 97 [Chi-Ha] Early Production
    15,00 €

The 1/72 scale Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tank (Item No.7397) that Dragon Armor previously released has been a very popular item. That particular model depicted a Late-Production variant, but now Dragon is adding an Early-Production model to the range. The Type 97 was Japan’s most widely produced medium tank of WWII. Boasting a 57mm main gun and two Type 97 machine guns, this tank was intended to serve as an up-scaled version of the Type 95 for infantry support. Armor protection was modest on this vehicle. A total of 2,123 tanks were produced from 1938-43, most of which had the low-velocity 57mm gun. The tank could move at a speed of 38km/h. The new 1/72 scale model uses some components from the previously released kit, but there are a great many new parts included. The entire upper hull, for example, is a completely new tooling. It’s all new to enable the correct depiction of the altered engine deck layout. Other notable alterations include the toolbox, shovel, rear-plate brackets and distinctive flaps on the engine deck. The lower hull also had to be modified due to the changed exhaust location. This Japanese tank kit allows modelers to field a tank that was used in both tropical and temperate regions of Asia, as well as the Pacific island-hopping campaign by the USA and the Allies. This little German 4x4 armored car was used for reconnaissance purposes. Early in WWII, the Sd.Kz.221 family performed well enough as reconnaissance vehicles for panzer divisions, although their off-road capability let them down. Now Dragon is offering another vehicle in the family – the Sd.Kfz.223, which was basically a modified Sd.Kfz.221 with a long-range radio set. Its function is belied by the prominent frame antenna that was mounted above the hull. This radio allowed it to stay in touch with roving reconnaissance vehicles on the battlefield. A total of 550 Sd.Kfz.223 vehicles were made between 1935 and 1944. As on the Sd.Kfz.221, a machine gun was installed in the small turret. The new Sd.Kfz.223 kit features new parts to create this specific variant. For example, the upper hull is a completely new item. The turret and rectangular antenna are obviously new too. The kit makes use of Dragon’s highest engineering expertise, meaning the armored radio car is well designed and easily assembled despite its diminutive size in this scale. The mesh that covers the turret is supplied as a photo-etched part so that it remains true to scale. Adding to its appeal is a set of jerry cans that can be stowed on the nose of the vehicle to give it longer range when performing recces. This little reconnaissance vehicle is the perfect vehicle to stay in touch with the Sd.Kfz.222s that modelers may already have in their reconnaissance forces! Per saperne di più

  9. IJA Type 95 Light Tank "Ha-Gō" Early Production
    45,00 €

The kit depicts an Early-Production variant and it’s based on actual measurements from real tanks. Although it’s a small vehicle, Dragon’s 1/35 scale kit is brimming with detail, something facilitated by the widespread use of slide molds. In fact, every single sprue in the kit employs slide molds, which is an astounding achievement! For example, the turret is of single-piece construction, with the multi-directional slide mold allowing details such as rivets to be rendered. The commander’s cupola is a similar story. The one piece lower hull has the correct armor panels and bolts on it. The upper hull is also one piece, and the gun barrel has a hollow end. The road wheels, idlers, sprockets and return rollers are slide-molded too. The DS slide-molded track links are accurately replicated in miniature so as to incorporate side details. This is an extremely exciting subject from Dragon, and because the Ha-Go was used in such diverse locations, modelers can produce any scenario such as jungle-clad terrain or a Pacific island!
