World of Tanks - Jagdpanzer IV Italeri 1 MODEL KIT - 1 LIQUID CEMENT - 1 TANK GUIDE - WORLD oF TANKS DECALS - 1 INVITE CODES - 1 BONUS CODE The Pz. IV medium tank served as the basis for many vehicles, including tank destroyers. At the end of 1944, a version of the 75-mm PaK 42 L/70 gun was prepared for this basis. The new variant of the vehicle was designated the JagdPzIV/70. From August 1944 through March 1945, the Nibelungenwerke company produced 278 vehicles of this type. Unlike most other tank destroyers of its tier, the Jagdpanzer IV is not optimized for sniping at long distances. Its guns simply do not have the penetration to do so. What it does have is a ferocious rate-of-fire with its top guns, excellent mobility, and a low and stealthy profile. As an added bonus, it also has fairly decent frontal armour for its tier. SD.KFZ.140 FLAKPZ.GEPARD This mobile anti aircraft weapon was made for the German army in 1943 to provide battlefield protection for their forces subject to sustained attack by enemy planes. The vehicle was developed, based on the 38T tank chassis, of Czechoslovakian origin already widely employed as the basis for reconnaissance and mobile artillery units. The Gepard carried a 2cm cannon, FLAK 38 and although well armed did not alone deliver the amount of fire needed to protect a location under attack and so it was necessary to deploy them in groups for effective defence. Total production amounted to 140 before manufacture ceased in early 1944. Per saperne di più -
