FULLY UPGRADE MOULD - SUPER DECALS SHEET - COLOURED INSTRUCTION SHEET Designed in the early part of the '30s, the Fiat CR 32 was powered by an V 12-cylinders, producing 600 hp. It was able to reach, as maximum speed, 375 Km / h. Among the most famous biplanes of aviation History the CR 32 was characterized by an extraordinary maneuverability. It was also strong, very reliable and well armed for the historical period, with two 12.7 mm Breda-Safat machine gun located on the top of engine and firing through the propeller disc. The Fiat CR 32 had its baptism of fire with the Legionary Air Forces, during the Spanish Civil War, and soon obtained the air superiority against the Soviet-made monoplane fighters, like the Polikarpov I-16, that formed the Squadrons of Republican Aviation. Thanks to the extraordinary mobility and the training of pilots, the Italian fighters prevailed even on from more modern enemy airplanes such as the Soviet-made Tupolev SB-2 bomber considered, thanks to its speed, impossible to be intercepted. The A-10 Thunderbolt II was developed by Fairchild Republic in the seventies with the purpose to create, accordingly the needs of USAF, a powerful aircraft capable to perform close air support missions including attacking tanks and armoured vehicles. The Thunderbolt II is heavily armoured and exceptionally tough. It is characterised by the two General Electric turbofan engines and the adoption of one of the most powerful aircraft gun ever flown : the 30 mm. GAU-8/A Avenger Gatling. Thanks to its eleven underwing and under fuselage pillars, the A-10 can carry an impressive offensive pay-load. F/A-18C Hornet The F/A-18 carrier based all-weather multi-role combat aircraft was developed on behalf of the US Navy and the US Marine Corps to deploy from aircraft carriers of the Nimitz class. The Hawker Hurricane has been the most widely used fighter by the British Royal Air Force at the beginning of World War II. The Hurricane was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin 12-cylinders, liquid-cooled, with more than 1,000 HP that could lead to a speed above 500 km/h. The eight 7.7 mm Browning machine guns, which equipped it , guaranteed a good firepower. Although it was slower and more antiquated, for aerodynamic design, then the famous "colleague" with whom it shared the operational engagement during the Battle of Britain, however, was more robust, cheaper and easier to maintain and repair. He has contributed significantly to the victory of the RAF during the Battle of Britain, but during the war, it has gradually given the role of front-line fighter to the more modern Spitfire.
