Canadair CL-415 SUPER DECALS FOR 5 VERSIONS The Canadair is the most famous firefighting plane of the aviation history. It is based on the flying boat amphibious water bomber concept and it is an extremely effective tool to protect the environment against the fire damages. The Canadair CL-415 is the improved version of the previous CL-215. The most important improvements able to enhance the effectiveness in firefighting duties are : the adoption of two Pratt & Whitney turboprop new engines able to provide 2,380 hp,, the aerodynamic additions to the wings and empennage and the up to date avionic system. Thanks to its sturdy and robust central hull, it is able to load the water storage compartments in only 400 meters long run on water. The continuous improvements has also provide a boost in range that permit to stay on the target for a longer period and to load and drop an higher quantity of water and retardant in order to be more and more effective on firefighting activities. 2. Mirage F 1C Italeri
    27,00 €

The Mirage F1 was built to replace the preceding and notorious supersonic delta-wing Mirage III, which, thanks to its characteristics, allowed the French aircraft industry to achieve great technological superiority in the 1960s and 70s. The fighter version of the F1 Mirage entered service with the French Air Force in late 1973, and, within a few years, replaced all of the preceding Mirage III aircraft. Over the years the F1 has evolved due to the availability of new weapons and electronic equipment, which allowed it to remain in service until only a few years ago when, at least in France, it was replaced by the Mirage 2000 series. This elegant aircraft achieved major commercial success when it was exported in order to equip the air forces of several countries including Spain, Greece, South Africa and ten other nations in the Middle East and Africa. The S.M.82 “Marsupiale” was the most famous transport aircraft of the Italian Regia Aeronautica during the Second World War. Directly derived by its predecessor, the S.M.75, it adopts the main features of the most traditional Savoia Marchetti production as the three radial engines configuration and the lay-out structure made by welded-steel tubes, wood, and fabric. The S.M.82 main strength was its wide fuselage capable of loading a significant amount of goods, materials and troops. The “Marsupiale” has been used to perform, successfully, tactical transport duties on all Italian military theaters of World War II, from Africa to Russia. It was also used for paratroops dropping. Even the German Luftwaffe recognized and appreciated the good features of the Italian aircraft. After the Armistice of 8 September 1943, the S.M. 82 were used by either the Italian Cobelligerent Air Force or the Repubblica Sociale Air Force. To point out the reliability of the project, after the war, some S.M. 82s continued in service with the Italian Aeronautica Militare until the early ‘60s. Per saperne di più

The BF-109 G represents the logical evolution of the earlier F version of the well-known German fighter plane, which dominated the skies during the early stages of World War II. The aircraft was equipped with a more powerful engine in order to increase speed and flying altitude. Some planes were also equipped with increased fire power to combat big Allied bombers. By the end of 1943 the BF-109 G was the backbone of the Luftwaffe and saw action on all theaters, where it was successful in matching Allied air power until the very end of the conflict. DO - 217 M - 1 Historic upgrade PRM ED The Dornier Do 217 was one of the best “performers” of the German Luftwaffe that ended up fulfilling various roles from bomber to reconnaissance aircraft and heavy-night fighter. This twin-engine 4-man aircraft appeared in prototype form by 1938 and would see several variants exist before the end of the war. Design of the Do 217 followed along the same lines of earlier Dornier bomber designs. Extetically ugly and with a “brutal”look, it was a scaled up Dornier Do 215 and initially powered by the same engines. In the late 1942 two new variants entered service, the K and M models. These had a rounded and streamlined nose profile; the reduction in drag and the use of powerful engines (expecially for the M version), enables the “217” to made some 50km/h faster than the earlier E model, with a bomb load of more than 4000kg. The Dornier 217 M, which first flew on July 16 of 1942, switch to more powerful in-lineV12 liquid cooled Daimler Benz DB603. This engine had better performance at high altitude than BMW 801. The Dornier 217, in majority K and M versions was present with KG2, KG40 and KG66. During Steinbock raids the “217” flown with a load of AB1000 and AB500 bombs container, charged with fire bomblets. The only capability in which the Do 217 was used up to the end of the war was as a night reconnaissance plane. In every way, the Do 217 was a success. It was fast, reliable and versatile. It wasn’t very easy to fly (it was heavy and dangerously fast in landing approach) but his high wing-load was an advantage in stability during bad weather bombing runs. The Do 217 was only built by the three Dornier plants: Dornier Werke Friedrichshafen (DWF): 316 aircraft, Dornier Werke München (DWM): 985 aircraft and Norddeutsche Dornier Werke (NDW): 602 aircraft.
