The aircraft was armed with two 7.92 mm machine guns, one of which was operated by the observer, and it was equipped with two cameras for aerial reconnaissance. It participated, although in limited numbers, among the planes of the Condor Legion in the Spanish Civil War and remained in production, also in improved versions, until 1941 when, due to its limited speed, it was no longer suitable for military use. In the spring of 1949 the first flights of the Skyblazers Air Demonstration Team took places in the skies over Europe at the airbase in Furstenfeldbruk, Germany. The pilots were part of the 22nd fighter squadron from the 36th Fighter Wing as part of the USAFE (United States Air Forces in Europe). The team was instructed by the USAFE headquarters to create an aerobatics team using F-80B aircraft and perform demonstrations throughout Europe. Soon afterwards the team was given modified F-84E Thunderjet aircraft. The 50-caliber machine guns were removed from the front of the aircraft for better handling in the demonstrations. 32,00 €V-22 Osprey The V-22 Osprey convertoplane is now being distributed to evaluation divisions of the US Navy and Marines to define piloting and use methods for this new, revolutionary aircraft. Thanks to its large, swing-rotors, the Osprey is able to take off and land just like a helicopter. Once off the ground, thanks to the rotation of its engines, it flies like a normal plane, reaching the speed and range hitherto unheard of for a traditional “chopper”. Modello: 38,1 cm SUPER DECAL - ISTRUZIONI A COLORI Il primo novembre del 1956 nasceva la componente aerea del Reparto Sperimentale Volo dell’Aeronautica Militare Italiana. Il reparto, altamente specializzato, venne identificato con il distintivo numerico “311°”. Per celebrare i sessant’ anni di attività è stata sviluppata, per un Tornado IDS del Reparto, una speciale livrea che ha riscosso un grande interesse ed è stata particolarmente apprezzata durante la manifestazione commemorativa dell’ ottobre 2016. Il 311mo Gruppo Volo costituisce oggi uno dei centri sperimentali aeronautici tecnologicamente più avanzati ed è formato da personale altamente preparato e qualificato. Il Tornado IDS, nato da un programma di collaborazione tra Italia, Gran Bretagna e Germania per lo sviluppo di un aereo d’attacco durante gli anni ’70, è stato prodotto in quasi 1.000 esemplari dimostrando le sue straordinarie capacità operative ed aeronautiche.
