The subject is a delightful model of the Westland WS-61 Sea King HC.4, the troop-carrying variant as used by the Royal Navy. The British Sea King is a license-produced version of the Sikorsky S-61, and the long-lived design still remains in UK service. The first of an eventual production run of 89 HC.4s were delivered in 1979, just a few years before the conflict with Argentina broke out. The Sea King HC.4 was a workhorse during the Falklands conflict, transporting troops, conducting replenishments and inserting special forces. The craft can carry up to 2.5-tonne underslung loads such as a Land Rover or L118 105mm howitzer. This Cyber-Hobby helicopter is a brand new tooling in 1/72 scale. The plastic model is well designed and cleverly engineered to induce maximum modeling enjoyment. The fuselage is correctly proportioned and is furnished with a full level of detail both inside and outside. The cabin doors can be displayed open if wished, allowing an even more tantalizing view of the helicopter’s interior. The foldable rotor blades are made to true scale thickness too. With appropriate decal markings from Cartograf, this Sea King HC.4 is ready to fly into action straight from the box! Per saperne di più

Me 262B-1a w/Engine. Features: -Twin-seat fuselage -Engine is finely reproduced with delicate internal detail -New photo-etched parts to upgrade details -Canopy can be assembled open or closed -Rubber tires reproduced with great detail -new photo-etched parts for upgrading the detail -new Cartograf decal offers beautiful markings Dragon’s latest rendition of the Me262 introduces some exciting new features. This 1/48 scale Me262B-1a comes complete with engine details, meaning it is possible for modelers to produce an airfield diorama with the jet engine on display as though it was undergoing maintenance. This was a common enough phenomenon, as these early jet engines attained an average life expectancy of just 12 hours! This plastic Me262B-1a, a twin-seat fighter, also boasts numerous detail enhancements that often involve the use of photo-etched parts. To make this kit even more convenient and user-friendly for modelers, some of these photo-etched parts have been pre-painted. This kit is also distinguished in having its own set of unique decals from Cartograf to portray a fighter in a unit of the modeler’s choice. This highly accurate kit offers modelers even more detail, the perfect accessory for jet setters! Per saperne di più

Originally, the twin-engine SH-3 Sea King was used primarily in the role of anti-submarine warfare (ASW) by the US Navy (USN). It was also the first amphibious helicopter in the world and it entered USN service in 1961. Various modifications occurred in its lifespan, with a total of 105 SH-3A and SH-3D craft being converted into the versatile SH-3G. The latter was a cargo, utility and transport helicopter used by the USN. In the 1990s the SH-3 Sea King was replaced by the SH-60 Seahawk in the USN. This 1/72 scale Dragon plastic model is well designed and cleverly engineered to induce maximum modeling enjoyment. The fuselage is correctly proportioned and it's furnished with a full level of detail both inside and outside. It has a new part to plug the gap where the sonar was originally located. The foldable rotor blades are made to true scale thickness too. With appropriate Cartograf decal markings for several USN squadrons available, this SH-3G is ready to lift off in service of the navy! This meant the nation needed more effective high-altitude interceptor aircraft to fight off the heavy bombers. One solution was the Focke-Wulf Ta152, a high-altitude interceptor fighter derived from the Fw190. There were three different versions planned, with the Ta152C designed for lower-altitude operations and ground attack. Thus it had a different engine and smaller wings than the Ta152H and Ta152E. Interestingly, the name was changed from Fw to Ta to reflect the important influence paid by designer Kurt Tank. The first Ta152H entered service in January 1945, and with only a little over 40 production aircraft, it had minimal impact on the result of WWII. Because of the rush to get the aircraft into production, insufficient time was allotted to its development, leading to teething problems. Dragon has produced a new 1/48 scale kit of the Ta152. This particular kit is of the Ta152C-0, which was a pre-production aircraft. Although only one prototype was built, this kit from Dragon means it is now available to all modelers. The kit includes brand new wings, plus a new engine and radiator cowling. These new parts, as well as highly detailed elements for the rest of the aircraft, are accurately detailed and dimensionally correct. The plastic parts are sharply molded, and there are options for showing such parts as the cowling flaps or cockpit open or closed. Two frets of photo-etched parts are also offered to upgrade detail. This is an exciting kit of a novel aircraft, and for modelers wanting a late-war interceptor, this Ta152C-0 from Dragon is the answer. Per saperne di più
