SUPER DECALS SHEET FOR 6 VERSIONS Developed in the early seventies from the American company Northrop, as direct evolution of its predecessor, the F-5E Tiger II was characterized by an increased power, a better maneuverability and better air-to-air performance. Its real strength, however, was represented by the low production and maintenance costs compared to a good combat effectiveness. Thanks to its cost / performance ratio the F-5E was chosen to equip the fighter squadrons of several air forces. Among these countries, the Swiss Air Force considered the F-5E suitable to meet the real unique features of which the Alpine Country needed. It was also produced under license by the Helvetic country. From the single-seat F-5E, the two-seat trainer F5-F has been directly derived. The model kit CAPRONI CA.311 is presented in the same box and with the original sprues of the first version released in 1975. The certified limited edition is guaranteed by an HOLOGRAM on the box which includes the sequence number of each kit. With this twin-engined Caproni plane thr Italian air force replaced the obsolete reconnaisance biplanes with a more modern and suitable plane for the new requirements of the air war. A twin-engined, three-seat monoplane, the CA 311 was used from 1940 to 1943 in Africa, in the Balkans and in Russia as a reconnaisance and ground-attack plane. The Grumman Corporation developed and designed the A-6A, based on U.S. Navy specifications, a twin jet-engine all-weather medium attack aircraft able to operate from the American aircraft carriers. The so called “Intruder” was characterized by a sturdy and robust fuselage and for the two seats side by side cabin configuration for the pilot and the weapons officer. The A-6E was the definitive attack version of the "Intruder" improved in avionics and attack systems, in particular in the version named TRAM, from the acronym of the laser target designation system, that allowed to be more effective to perform “all weather” missions and to be more lethal in detection and suppression of enemy targets. Thanks to its hardpoints under the wing the A-6E Intruder was able to load an impressive offensive armament as conventional bombs, Paveway laserg-guided bombs, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, HARM anti-radar missiles. 15,00 €The North American B-25 Mitchell was probably one of the best medium bombers of World War II. The first flight of the twin-engine North American plane was done in 1939. Powered by two 1750 HP Wright R-2600 Cyclone engines, the B-25 was characterized by an extraordinary operational flexibility. It took its nickname in honor of General Billy Mitchell considered, in effect, the father and the founder of United States Air Force. From the first versions, used for the main task of medium bomber in level flight, were progressively develop and implement further variations. In particular, following the specific need for a ground attack and close support aircraft, was made the B-25G. It was equipped with a closed nose, instead of the transparent one, with two .50 machine-guns and an heavy 75mm cannon inside which made it a real "piece of flying artillery”. Per saperne di più
