15,00 €SUPER DECALS SHEET FOR 6 VERSIONS Developed in the early seventies from the American company Northrop, as direct evolution of its predecessor, the F-5E Tiger II was characterized by an increased power, a better maneuverability and better air-to-air performance. Its real strength, however, was represented by the low production and maintenance costs compared to a good combat effectiveness. Thanks to its cost / performance ratio the F-5E was chosen to equip the fighter squadrons of several air forces. Among these countries, the Swiss Air Force considered the F-5E suitable to meet the real unique features of which the Alpine Country needed. It was also produced under license by the Helvetic country. From the single-seat F-5E, the two-seat trainer F5-F has been directly derived. The model kit CANT. Z. 501 is presented in the same box and with the original sprues of the first version released in 1974. The certified limited edition is guaranteed by an hologram on the box which includes the sequence number of each kit. Developed by Cantieri Riuniti dell'Adriatico from a design by Ing. Zappata the 501 featured a wooden constructions, a central hull and an extensively braced parasol-wing. Originaly conceived as a reconnaissance-bomber flyng boat. the CANT. Z. 501 flew in 1934. The same year and over again in 1935, established the world distance record with Mario Stoppani at the controls. Produced in quantity, also by subsidiaries, it was largely employed in the Spanish War and in World War ll; after the armistice it operated with Allied Co-belligerent Air Force. Bretling DC-3 Italeri Type: Cargo Period: Between the two Wars Country: United States Skill: 3 Model Dim.: 27,3 cm A group of fans managed to fly from Florida to Switzerland with a DC-3 built in 1940 and there it was registered as HB-IRJ. Breitling used it as advertising support and the operator is the Super Constellation Flyers Association. On March 12, 1940 the aeroplane was commissioned by American Airlines. Meanwhile, it has accumulated more than 74.000 hours of flight time and is still today in excellent condition. It reached a speed of 250 km/h and the aircraft does not have a pressurised cabin. The crew consists of two pilots and a flight attendant. The DC-3 can even land at airports with a firm or grass runway with a length greater than 1.100 m. Per saperne di più -

The first flight took place in 1970 and from the mid-'70s, it was assigned to the flight departments. Thanks to two turbo propellers engines, the aircraft is able to reach the speed of 480 km / h. It also has an excellent handling and maneuverability even at full load. The Italian 46.ma Brigata Aerea located in Pisa was the main user of the G-222.
