The SU-34 is a development of the outstanding air superiority fighter SU-27 Flanker, which entered service with the Soviet forces towards the later Eighties. Major characteristics, superior to the Flanker, are: high manoeuvrability, an operational range of 4'000 km and a high payload. This plane will gradually replace the SU-24 Fencer, presently in service. The SU-34 has a completely redesigned front section to accommodate a two-seat cockpit with complex electronics to precision navigate and operate the sophisticated air-to-ground missile system. Alenia’s C-27J Spartan is the new well implemented and updated version of the predecessor tactical transport G 222. Two new and powerful turboprop Rolls-Royce AE2100-D2 are capable to bring the Spartan to exceed a speed of 600 km/H. It can transport up to 68 solders, 46 fully equipped parachutists or more then 11 tons of equipment. 18,00 €F-104 G “RECCE” The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter is one of the most famous fighters in the history of aviation and also one with the longest operational life: its history began at the end of the 50s and ended, for some air forces, in mid 2000s. Its unique airframe, with slender fuselage and very little wing surface, made this aircraft ideal as an interceptor. Thanks to the thrust of its General Electric J79-GE-11A afterburning turbojet engine, it could exceed Mach 2,2 with an excellent rate of climb. But it wasn't very maneuverable and difficult to pilot.The F-104G Starfighter was produced on license by several European aviation industries. From the mid 60s, it became the standard interceptor for many NATO countries including Italy, Germany, Holland, Greece, and Turkey. The armament was basically the same found on previous versions, with a 20mm Vulcan cannon and the option to fit under the wings air-to-air missiles, bombs, or additional fuel tanks to increase the airplane's range.With time, reconnaissance duties were added to the traditional interceptor service. This sleak twin-engine plane is an evolution of the ME-210 which was supposed to substitute the M-110 as a heavy fighter plane. This plan did not materialize due to serious problems with the aircraft’s engines. All of this resulted in a series of modifications which ended with the realization of the Model 410. Yet, despite all the improvements, the airplane inherited some technical problems which made sufficient distribution to all the various Luftwaffe units impossible.
