Parallel to the single-seat Mirage 2000,a twin-seat training version was released, which also serves as a nuclear attack aircraft. From this airpiane, exclusively used by the French Airforce for strategic missions, the Mirage 2000 D evolved, which is an all-weather interceptor of the French Air Force, which, until recently was lacking an advanced ground attack fighter. 13,00 €The F4 Corsair is considered to be one of the most successful carrier-based fighter aircraft to be developed during the Second World War, although, when it first came into service, the technical experts of the U.S Navy considered this large cantilever wing aircraft to be unsuitable for use on aircraft carriers. The Corsair obtained many outstanding aerial victories. In the Pacific Ocean theatre alone, the F4U shot down over 2,000 Japanese aircraft, with a loss of only 189 Corsairs, resulting in a kill / loss ratio which has never been equaled throughout history. Caproni CA. 311/311M Italeri The Ca.311 was projected as reconnaissance aircraft able to develop also missions as light bombardier and ground attack. The Italian company Officine Caproni realized their Ca. 310, then evolved in the Ca.311; the airplane, with elegant lines, was able to fly at 220 knots and was characterized by an almost entirely clear nose, particulary conceived for the better ground observation. Its armament was constituted from three 7,7 mm machine guns, one in ventral position , one in the Lanciani type revolving turret in dorsal position and one positioned on the left wing . The airplane was also able to transport up to 400 kilograms of bombs in the fuselage. The Ca.311 would have developed his missions from 1940 on all the war fronts: from northern Africa, to the Balkans and to Russia, recording also a certain success among the crews for his manageability and his reliability, despite the limited defensive armament and some problems about the reduced engines power. Several planes would have remained in service for training up to 1945, both with the Regia Aeronautica in the southern Italy and with the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana in the north. The ground attack version used by the Royal Air Force has a more sophisticated electronic navigation and bombing system than the French counterpart. Notwithstanding the fact, that the airplane has been in service for more than 20 years, it is still to-day considered to be a valid support aircraft for the Tornado. During the Gulf War the Jaguars have been used against the Iraqui Forces in hundreds of missions without a single loss. Many successful missions ware also carried out during the Balcan conflict.
