15,00 €FW-190 A-8 MODEL SET - THIS PRODUCT IS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN OVER 8 YEARS OF AGE - - ACRYLIC PAINTS, LIQUID CEMENT AND BRUSH INCLUDED - The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was one of the best airplanes designed during World War II. With over 20,000 units produced from 1941, together with the Messerschmitt Bf 109, it was the Luftwaffe’s most famous bomber. The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-8 was equipped with a BMW 801 D-2 two star radial engine, with 14 1,700 Hp cylinders, which allowed it to reach a maximum speed of 653 Km/h. It was heavily armed with 2 MG 131 machine guns and 4 MG 151 20 mm cannons. Production of the A-8 version began in the first months of 1944, characterised with an injection system able to increase engine power, for brief periods, to over 1,900 Hp. From 1944 until May 1945 in all the Focke-Wulf factories, more than 6,500 190 A-8 models were constructed, to face the ever more frequent allied air raids. Decals for 2 versions. Agusta Westland AW-101 TTI Italeri The Agusta Westland AW101 is a medium/heavy-lift helicopter for military applications but also marketed for civil use. The helicopter was developed as a joint venture between Westland Helicopters in the UK and Agusta in Italy (now Agusta Westland). The aircraft is manufactured at the Agusta Westland factories in Yeovil, England and Vergiate, Italy. In spring 1977, the UK Ministry of Defence issued a requirement for an anti-submarine warfare (ASW) helicopter to replace the Royal Navy's Westland Sea Kings. 40,00 €AC - 130H Spectre. The Lockheed AC-130 Spectre is an armed tactical support version of the C-130 Hercules. The AC-130 initially replaced AC-47 and AC-119 in the supporting role during the war in Vietnam. USAF used the AC-130 for close support, area interdiction and force protection. Close air support roles include supporting ground troops, escorting convoys, and flying urban operations. Air interdiction missions are conducted against planned targets and targets of opportunity, whereas force protection missions include defending air bases and other facilities. The AC-130 Gunship arrived in South Vietnam on 21 September 1967 and began combat operations that same year. After the conflict in Vietnam, the U.S. Air Force designed a new range of these aircrafts basing on the C-130 H version, equipped with far more powerful engines, with four-blade propellers and upgraded versions of the navigation and night vision. The AC-130H called “Spectre” were used in all the conflicts involving the U.S. Force of the last decade and, after further upgrades, they are still used in the conflict in Afghanistan. The A-10 Thunderbolt II was developed by Fairchild Republic in the seventies with the purpose to create, accordingly the needs of USAF, a powerful aircraft capable to perform close air support missions including attacking tanks and armoured vehicles. The Thunderbolt II is heavily armoured and exceptionally tough. It is characterised by the two General Electric turbofan engines and the adoption of one of the most powerful aircraft gun ever flown : the 30 mm. GAU-8/A Avenger Gatling. Thanks to its eleven underwing and under fuselage pillars, the A-10 can carry an impressive offensive pay-load. F/A-18C Hornet The F/A-18 carrier based all-weather multi-role combat aircraft was developed on behalf of the US Navy and the US Marine Corps to deploy from aircraft carriers of the Nimitz class. It should have the ability to combat land, sea and air targets over long ranges. Flight testing of the improved F/A-18C version began on 3 September 1986. Since 1986, the F/A-18 was involved in all major military operations concerning the United States.
