20,00 €ATR 42-500 ATR 42-500 100% NEW MOULDS - STAND BASE INCLUDED - DECALS FOR 3 VERSIONS The ATR 42 was developed by the Italian-French manufacturer “Aeromobili da Trasporto Regionale” and making its first flight in the middle of ‘80s. The goal of the project was to create a twin-turboprop passenger aircraft that could be used as short-haul regional airliner. The low operating costs and the possibility to take off and to land on short runways were the main features of the small aircraft and were the base for the commercial success of the project. The ATR-500, introduced in the mid ‘90s, was the improved version and it adopts new engines and six-bladed propellers. Furthermore a dedicated military version, the ATR 42 MP “Surveyor” has been developed to perform maritime patrol duties. It is used by Italian Coast Guard, Capitanerie di Porto and Guardia di Finanza. Decals for 3 versions. Between 1965 and 1968, forty-three HAS.1 models were upgraded to the new standard, easily recognisable for the dorsal dome of the search radar that gave the HAS.3 its nickname “Camel”.Apart from this aspect, the modifications focussed mainly on the flight stabilisation system and the mission equipment, including the more effective Plessey sonar. The weaponry for anti-submarine missions typically consisted of Mk.44 torpedoes, or Mk.11 depth charges.Starting in the mid-1970s, the Wessex HAS.3 was gradually replaced by the Sea King, though it remained in service long enough to participate in the Falklands War. SU - 27D Sea Flanker Together with the smaller Mig-29 the Sukhoy SU-27 is the most modern Soviet aircraft of the Nineties. Due to its features - speed, maneuvrability, electronic equipment and armament - this plane is on, the same level as Western airpianes. From the original Flanker-B version (which was introduced in 1989) further versions were developed such as the carrier variant, which is used for the new air-craft carriers of the Tbiisi class. HH-60J U.S. Coast Guard UPGRADED MOULDS The Sikorsky HH-60J "Jayhawk" was identified by the United States Coast Guard - replacing the old and glorious HH-3F Pelican - for search and rescue, maritime patrols, and environmental protection missions. The "Jayhawk" is basically and directly derived from the robust, flexible and highly reliable SH-60 Seahawk used in a huge number by the United States Navy and embarked on all major units of the fleet. The HH-60J Jayhawk is able to fly a crew of four people, in addition to other 6 additional people on board. The HH-60J is normally based on land but it can be also based on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutters. Thanks to its main powerplant, formed by 2 General Electric T700 gas turbines able to provide 1,410 Kw each, the “Jayhawk” is able to reach a maximum speed of 330 Km/h and a cruiser speed of 250 Km/h. The aircraft was armed with two 7.92 mm machine guns, one of which was operated by the observer, and it was equipped with two cameras for aerial reconnaissance. It participated, although in limited numbers, among the planes of the Condor Legion in the Spanish Civil War and remained in production, also in improved versions, until 1941 when, due to its limited speed, it was no longer suitable for military use. The Black Hawk is the U.S. Army’s front-line utility helicopter used for air assault, air cavalry and aeromedicals evacuation units. It is designed to carry 11 combat-loaded air assault troops and it is capable of moving a 105 mm. Howitzer and 30 rounds of ammunition. First deployed in 1978, the Black Hawk’s advanced technology makes it easy to maintain in the field. The Black Hawk has performed admirably in a variety of missions, including air assault, air cavalry and aeromedicals evacuations, including Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq.
