  2. WW.II US Navy F6F-3 Hellcat
    29,00 €

Although it looked somewhat like its predecessor the F4F Wildcat, the single-seat F6F Hellcat was a completely new design from Grumman. It was a carrier-based fighter that served in the US Navy and US Marine Corps (USMC). The Hellcat is credited with destroying a staggering 5,271 enemy aircraft. Cyber-Hobby is releasing a 1/72 scale plastic kit of the first production version of the Hellcat, the F6F-3. In all, some 4,402 F6F-3 carrier-borne fighters were produced up till April 1944 before it was replaced by the F6F-5. The fighter’s standard armament was six .50-cal M2/AN Browning machine guns, while later aircraft possessed three hardpoints capable of carrying 900kg of bombs. Six High-Velocity Aircraft Rockets (HVAR) could also be mounted under its wings. This is a 1/72 scale kit from Cyber-Hobby. It's based on the F6F-5N (Item No.5080) that was released earlier, but it has a modified fuselage in keeping with the design of the F6F-3. Details such as the Double Wasp radial engine are absolutely stunning. The cockpit features a full interior, with even minute details rendered. The transparent canopy can be displayed open or closed, thus allowing the modeler to show off all the intrinsic detail. The wings can be shown extended or folded, as can the undercarriage. Cartograf decals offer various US and British unit marking options for this famous Hellcat fighter. The kit also comes with a selection or armaments (e.g 5-inch HVAR, 500lb bomb) to produce an authentic-looking model. This might be a Hellcat, but it will cause aircraft modelers to purr with delight! Per saperne di più

This British aircraft was the RAF’s second ever jet fighter (the first being the Gloster Meteor). Although it arrived too late to see WWII combat, it served in frontline squadrons of the Royal Air Force (RAF) until 1953 and as a training platform until 1966. Some 3,268 Vampires were built and they were used by 31 air forces. The most numerically common single-seat variant was the FB.5, with the type built for the UK, South Africa and Venezuela. The FB.5 featured a Goblin II turbojet engine with armored protection. In addition, the wings were shortened by 30cm and the undercarriage was given a longer stroke to permit greater takeoff weights and more clearance for under-wing munitions. At its peak, the RAF flew 19 squadrons of FB.5s in Europe, the Middle East and Far East. It participated in the Malayan Emergency, for example. This 1/72 scale kit is the fruit of brand new toolings. Naturally, it’s extremely well engineered to support convenient and easy assembly. This engineering excellence is made manifest in numerous parts produced with the aid of slide molds and complete CAD design from start to finish. Panel lines are sharply and accurately delineated using laser crafting, while the streamlined form of the fuselage and twin-boom tail is realistically captured. Coming after Cyber-Hobby’s earlier releases of the Meteor, Sea Vixen and Sea Venom, this new kit adds to the historic British family! Indeed, modelers will now be able to display a complete lineup of these important post-WWII British fighters. Per saperne di più

The subject is a delightful model of the Westland WS-61 Sea King HC.4, the troop-carrying variant as used by the Royal Navy. The British Sea King is a license-produced version of the Sikorsky S-61, and the long-lived design still remains in UK service. The first of an eventual production run of 89 HC.4s were delivered in 1979, just a few years before the conflict with Argentina broke out. The Sea King HC.4 was a workhorse during the Falklands conflict, transporting troops, conducting replenishments and inserting special forces. The craft can carry up to 2.5-tonne underslung loads such as a Land Rover or L118 105mm howitzer. This Cyber-Hobby helicopter is a brand new tooling in 1/72 scale. The plastic model is well designed and cleverly engineered to induce maximum modeling enjoyment. The fuselage is correctly proportioned and is furnished with a full level of detail both inside and outside. The cabin doors can be displayed open if wished, allowing an even more tantalizing view of the helicopter’s interior. The foldable rotor blades are made to true scale thickness too. With appropriate decal markings from Cartograf, this Sea King HC.4 is ready to fly into action straight from the box! Per saperne di più

WWII Luftwaffe Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4/B Barcode: 0 89195 83225 2 Case Pack: 20 pieces per master carton Box Size: 9.6" x 15" x 3.5" The Messerschmitt Bf109 formed the backbone of the Luftwaffe for the duration of WWII. In fact, the Bf109 holds the distinction of being the most widely produced fighter in history. Nearly 34,000 were produced up till April 1945! A range of wartime variants were developed, with the E (“Emil”) series being the first major redesign of this highly successful platform that wrought havoc on Allied and Russian opponents. Of the 561 E-4 aircraft built, 211 were of the E-4/B “Jabo” type. It was first used against shipping in the English Channel in July 1940, and it could carry a single 250kg bomb or four 50kg bombs. Based on previous Bf109s, this new Bf109E-4/B has resulted in precise detail and easy assembly for modelers of all skill levels. Every detail is accurately presented in plastic, and some parts such as the pilot’s seatbelt are even included as photo-etched metal items for superior realism. DS is also used for the landing-gear compartment to provide the necessary level of detail. The redesigned squared-off cockpit canopy is produced especially for this kit. A variety of marking options are available as high-quality Cartograf decals. Per saperne di più
