This British aircraft was a jet fighter capable of operating from aircraft carriers, and thus it had folding wings, a strengthened undercarriage, modified canopy to permit underwater ejection, and a tailhook. The Sea Venom operated as an interceptor with the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm. This Cyber Hobby kit represents the production version known as FAW.21 (Fighter, All-Weather), which first flew in April 1954. Production of the FAW.21 ceased in 1957. This model aircraft carries a Blue Jay (also known as Firestreak) missile, a type that entered service in 1957 as Britain's first ever air-to-air missile. This 1/72 scale kit is the fruit of brand new toolings produced earlier for Item No.5096. However, it now features a completely new Blue Jay missile under the wings, which adds much visual impact to the model. Naturally, the whole kit's extremely well engineered to support convenient and easy assembly, including numerous parts produced with the aid of slide molds. Panel lines are sharply and accurately delineated using laser crafting, while the streamlined form of the fuselage and twin-boom tail is realistically captured in its entirety. Cartograf has also supplied a range of beautiful marking options to finish off this Sea Venom. This new kit of the Sea Venom armed with British first-generation missiles adds muscle to Cyber Hobby's aircraft kit collection! Per saperne di più

SUPER DECALS SHEET The twin-engine high swept wing Douglas RB-66 Destroyer entered in service in the mid- 50s to equip the USAF photo-reconnaissance squadrons. Derived, as the Douglas B-66 bomber version, from the A-3 Skywarrior, it had adopted a lot of changes compared to the US Navy aircraft. Thanks to the two J71 turbojet engines, the Destroyer was able to reach a max speed of 940 Km/h and guarantee an operative range of 1,800 miles. The equipment for the reconnaissance were installed in the loading bombs bay. A lot of RB-66s had been used by the USAF Squadrons located in Great Britain, Germany and Japan during the escalation of the Cold Wars proving their effectiveness in the intelligence and recon duties. The Sea Vixen was a twin-boom jet fighter used by the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy in the 1960-70s, and this carrier-based aircraft could travel at speeds of up to 1,110km/h. Following on from Cyber-Hobby’s kit of a twin-seat Sea Vixen FAW.1 (FAW denotes ‘Fighter All Weather’), this latest kit represents an FAW.2 variant. As successor to the FAW.1, it possessed many improvements such as an enlarged tail boom allowing additional fuel tanks, an improved escape system and more space for electronic countermeasures systems. The FAW.2 entered frontline squadrons in 1964 and some 29 new-build aircraft were produced as well as 67 FAW.1s converted. The Sea Vixen was withdrawn from service in 1972. Just like Cyber-Hobby’s recent FAW.1 kit, this 1/72 scale model makes extensive use of slide molds to create a harmonious blend of detail and ease of assembly. The fuselage is a complex shape because of the twin tail booms, but very judicious engineering and clever parts separation mean all the components fit together perfectly. The newly tooled fuel tanks accommodated on both wings are delicately reproduced. The cockpit for the pilot, which is offset towards the port side, is featured correctly, and the upper fuselage has been updated to include the correct top hatch for the observer. Panel lines are sharply and precisely rendered thanks to the application of laser technology. Modelers can now complete their Sea Vixen families! Per saperne di più

Initially, this twin-engine SH-3 Sea King was used primarily for anti-submarine warfare (ASW) by the US Navy. It was also the first amphibious helicopter in the world. Many other nations adopted the Sea King design, including Japan, where it was license-produced by Mitsubishi. Indeed, the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) widely used the Sea King as an ASW platform. Some 18 S-61A Sea Kings were used in search-and-rescue (SAR) roles too. Sometimes these were deployed to Antarctica aboard naval icebreakers such as Shirase. Japan maintains the Asuka, Mizuho, Showa and Dome Fuji Stations in Antarctica, and the JMSDF is responsible for Japan's Antarctica Observation activities. Cyber-Hobby is expanding the popular Sea King family by providing a kit of an S-61A in Antarctica Observation service with the JMSDF. The kit is well designed and cleverly engineered, and it incorporates all the updates necessary for this Japanese version. For example, four brand new mirrors are installed on the front of the cabin to aid the pilot's view. The two halves of the fuselage have also been updated to include appropriate new side windows. Another special Japanese addition is a searchlight mounted on the side of the body. The cabin doors can be displayed open if wished, allowing a tantalizing view of the helicopter's interior. With appropriate Cartograf decal markings and a suitable paint scheme, this S-61A variant of the Sea King is ready for action in the frigid climes of Antarctica! Per saperne di più

Me 262B-1a w/Engine. Features: -Twin-seat fuselage -Engine is finely reproduced with delicate internal detail -New photo-etched parts to upgrade details -Canopy can be assembled open or closed -Rubber tires reproduced with great detail -new photo-etched parts for upgrading the detail -new Cartograf decal offers beautiful markings Dragon’s latest rendition of the Me262 introduces some exciting new features. This 1/48 scale Me262B-1a comes complete with engine details, meaning it is possible for modelers to produce an airfield diorama with the jet engine on display as though it was undergoing maintenance. This was a common enough phenomenon, as these early jet engines attained an average life expectancy of just 12 hours! This plastic Me262B-1a, a twin-seat fighter, also boasts numerous detail enhancements that often involve the use of photo-etched parts. To make this kit even more convenient and user-friendly for modelers, some of these photo-etched parts have been pre-painted. This kit is also distinguished in having its own set of unique decals from Cartograf to portray a fighter in a unit of the modeler’s choice. This highly accurate kit offers modelers even more detail, the perfect accessory for jet setters! Per saperne di più
