The Blue Angels, the United States Navy's flying aerobatic team, were created in 1946 immediately after the end of World War II. On November 1986, during the 40th anniversary year events, the Blue Angels made their transition from subsonic A-4 Skyhawk II to the new the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet. The Blue Angels had already flown on aircrafts characterized by big size, as the F-4 Phantom II, but the choice of flying on a supersonic plane was, at those time, in contrast with the rest of the aerobatic teams, mostly Europeans, who preferred more maneuverable trainers. However, thanks to the F / A-18 Hornet extraordinary flying qualities and, in particular, the high maneuverability , the choice done was an immediate success and the new aircraft has made possible to implement a high level aerobatic program. Thanks to its main powerplant, formed by 2 General Electric T700 gas turbines able to provide 1,410 Kw each, the “Jayhawk” is able to reach a maximum speed of 330 Km/h and a cruiser speed of 250 Km/h. To celebrate the event during the Payerne Air Show Air 14 from 30 August to 7 September of 2014 was realized a new commemorative livery for one F-18 . The event was a huge success with around 400,000 visitors from all over the world. There were 184 performances in 'period of four days. FULLY UPGRADE MOULD - SUPER DECALS SHEET - COLOURED INSTRUCTION SHEET Designed in the early part of the '30s, the Fiat CR 32 was powered by an V 12-cylinders, producing 600 hp. It was able to reach, as maximum speed, 375 Km / h. Among the most famous biplanes of aviation History the CR 32 was characterized by an extraordinary maneuverability. It was also strong, very reliable and well armed for the historical period, with two 12.7 mm Breda-Safat machine gun located on the top of engine and firing through the propeller disc. The Fiat CR 32 had its baptism of fire with the Legionary Air Forces, during the Spanish Civil War, and soon obtained the air superiority against the Soviet-made monoplane fighters, like the Polikarpov I-16, that formed the Squadrons of Republican Aviation. Thanks to the extraordinary mobility and the training of pilots, the Italian fighters prevailed even on from more modern enemy airplanes such as the Soviet-made Tupolev SB-2 bomber considered, thanks to its speed, impossible to be intercepted. The F-16 is the most widely used combat fighter aircraft in western air forces. After entering service over 30 years ago, this is valid testimony to the quality of the original concept. This has been supported by constant upgrades during its operational service. The F-16 was developed to meet USAF requirements as well as to offer allied nations a fighter to replace the existing F-100s, F-5s, F-104s and Mirages in the late 70s. A revolutionary new aerodynamic profile gives the F-16 excellent flying performance and great maneuverability. Together with the single seat version, the double seat was developed to train pilots in this new aircraft. Originally conceived to learn the increasing capacities of new electronic technologies, these training versions have been progressively converted to a true attack aircraft by the U.S. and Israeli Air Forces. They are deployed next to the fewer and more expensive F-15’s. The most recent F-16 DG and DJ versions are based on the Block 50 cell. Thanks to their sophisticated night vision systems with electronic equipment which allows for the use of laser and satellite guided ammunitions; this machine has turned into a real multi-role aircraft.
