Designed and developed by the British manufacturer Hawker Siddeley in the sixties, it actively participated to the military operations during the Falklands / Malvinas War in 1982. More in detail the Harrier Gr. 3, characterized by the adoption of new features as the nose-mounted laser tracker and the integrated electronic countermeasure systems, it was very effective in close support and ground attack missions performed by British Royal Air Force. Armed with two 30 mm guns installed under the fuselage, it was able to carry a significant load of offensive weapons composed by rockets, conventional bombs and laser-guided bombs. The Tornado has been in service with the German, Italian and British forces since the early eighties.The airplane has been continuously modified to meet the electronic level needed to match possible enemy anti aircraft defenses. The ECR version has been developed for the Luftwaffe and was subsequently also introduced by the Italian Air Force. Its special purpose is to attack anti-aircraft missile systems.The planes are equipped with sensors which intercept enemy radar of missile launchers, locate their position and attack them with AGM-88 high-speed anti-radiation missiles and thus stay beyond the reach of the enemy positions. The Ju 87 was a single-engined cantilever monoplane and its structure was all-metal. The main construction material was duralumin, and the external coverings were made of Duralumin sheeting. The wing was the most unusual feature and consisted of a single center section and two outer sections. The center section had a large negative dihedral and the outer surfaces a positive dihedral. Entered in service in the first part of 80’s, it maintained the typical “delta wing” aerodynamic design but, compared to the previous generation French fighters, the Mirage 2000 has adopted significant technical improvements. Thanks to its SNECMA afterburning turbofan engine, it is able to reach the speed of Mach 2.2. It has a great maneuverability and it can carry a various set of offensive weapons. The Mirage 2000C is often considered the first new generation fighter, produced in Europe, to be entered in operational service. To celebrate the event during the Payerne Air Show Air 14 from 30 August to 7 September of 2014 was realized a new commemorative livery for one F-18 . The event was a huge success with around 400,000 visitors from all over the world. There were 184 performances in 'period of four days. Modello: 38,1 cm SUPER DECAL - ISTRUZIONI A COLORI Il primo novembre del 1956 nasceva la componente aerea del Reparto Sperimentale Volo dell’Aeronautica Militare Italiana. Il reparto, altamente specializzato, venne identificato con il distintivo numerico “311°”. Per celebrare i sessant’ anni di attività è stata sviluppata, per un Tornado IDS del Reparto, una speciale livrea che ha riscosso un grande interesse ed è stata particolarmente apprezzata durante la manifestazione commemorativa dell’ ottobre 2016. Il 311mo Gruppo Volo costituisce oggi uno dei centri sperimentali aeronautici tecnologicamente più avanzati ed è formato da personale altamente preparato e qualificato. Il Tornado IDS, nato da un programma di collaborazione tra Italia, Gran Bretagna e Germania per lo sviluppo di un aereo d’attacco durante gli anni ’70, è stato prodotto in quasi 1.000 esemplari dimostrando le sue straordinarie capacità operative ed aeronautiche.
