The aerospace industry team led by Lockheed Martin generated the single-seat, single-engine, F-35 Lightning II. It adopts stealth technology and it is characterized by the trapezoidal wings and by the use of the most advanced hi-tech materials and avionic systems. Developed to perform air superiority, close air support and ground attack missions, it has been design in different configurations. The F-35A is the conventional takeoff and landing variant, the F-35B is the short takeoff and vertical landing variant and the F-35C, with foldable-wings, has been developed to be used from conventional deck carriers. Thanks to its operational flexibility, the advanced on-board technology and the impressive project innovation, the F-35 lightning II will be a reference aircraft in the twenty-first century military aviation. It has been produced from the early sixties to provide to Armée de l’Air, the French Air Force, a reliable and effective fighter aircraft. The Mirage III rapidly became a commercial success and it was widely exported to several Countries taking part to a lot of conflicts between the seventies and the eighties. Characterised by the delta wing design without horizontal tail plane, thanks to its Snecma Atar afterburning turbojet, it was able to exceed the speed of Mach. After the introduction of the single-seat interceptor Mirage IIIC, a new multirole and strike version has been implemented. The Mirage IIIE was born and it has been a successful version produced in a significant number of units. It was characterised by a forward fuselage extension to permit the installation of the new avionic system. Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 Erla The Bf109 is one of the Luftwaffe's most famous Second World War fighter aircrafts. The Bf109G-10 was fitted with the uprated DB-605D engine and a 50-MW injection unit rolled out of the Erla factory in Leipzig from September 1944 onwards. The design of the Bf109 G-10, manufactured by Erla, differed from those produced by other companies through a completely modified, more aerodynamic engine cowling. All aircrafts were equipped to carry a 300 litre drop-tank and drop bombs. Due to its lower take-off weight, the G-10 had better performance than its successor the Bf109, K-4. Unconfirmed WWII legend states that Japanese soldiers referred to the Bristol Beaufighter as "Whispering Death". Beaufighters were much quieter than most aircraft of the time and the Mk.IF night fighter variant incorporated a ranging radar set that could pick out targets on the blackest nights. Once targets were found, stealth went out the window. Four 20mm cannons and six .303 machine guns ensured that enemy targets were shredded in volcanic gouts of fire. This kit features structured surfaces, detailed twin radial engines, moveable propeller, detailed cockpit with pilot figure, navigation compartment with figure, tail-wheel selectively down or retracted, separate navigation lights, under-carriage selectively down or retracted, radar antennae, and removable engine cowling's.
