It has been used by pratically every nation from America to the Soviet Union, by both China and all of the allies during World War II. After World War II it was used in the Berlin airlift, in Korea, during the Israeli-Arab conflicts, and finally became famous in its offensive role in Vietnam as the AC-47 GUNSHIP. Developed by Dornier as replacement of the old “Wal”, the new Do-24 was characterized by a power plant of three 940 HP Bramo wing-mounted radial engines. The solution adopted, much more modern and reliable than the previous one, combined with a robust parasol-wing and twin tails, allowed to Dornier Do-24 to reach a top speed of 340 Km/h. Thanks to its range of 2,700 Km and thanks to its offensive load of 1,200 Kg, the Dornier Do-24 has been used for several operational tasks on all fronts. 17,00 €MIG 29A Fulcrum SUPER DECALS SHEET The Mikoyan MiG-29 Fulcrum is a twin-engine supersonic air-superiority fighter designed during the’70s to counter new American planes, such as McDonnell Douglas F-15. It entered in service in the Soviet Union Air Force in the early 80s. Thanks to its two Klimov RD-33 afterburning turbofan engines, the Fulcrum is able to reach the maximum speed of Mach 2,2. It is characterized by a very elegant and harmonious aerodynamic profile with a flat and wide fuselage and two vertical tail fins. The Mig 29 is armed with a 30 mm. gun in the port wing root and it can adopt a wide variety of air-to-air missiles ad the AA-8 “Aphid”, the AA-10 “Alamo” and the AA-11 “Archer”. It is widely used by the Russian Air Force and by the most part of Easter European Countries Air Forces. Among the others it has been adopted by the Indian Air Force. More in detail the Harrier Gr. 3, characterized by the adoption of new features as the nose-mounted laser tracker and the integrated electronic countermeasure systems, it was very effective in close support and ground attack missions performed by British Royal Air Force. Armed with two 30 mm guns installed under the fuselage, it was able to carry a significant load of offensive weapons composed by rockets, conventional bombs and laser-guided bombs.
