The model kit CANT. Z. 501 is presented in the same box and with the original sprues of the first version released in 1974. The certified limited edition is guaranteed by an hologram on the box which includes the sequence number of each kit. Developed by Cantieri Riuniti dell'Adriatico from a design by Ing. Zappata the 501 featured a wooden constructions, a central hull and an extensively braced parasol-wing. Originaly conceived as a reconnaissance-bomber flyng boat. the CANT. Z. 501 flew in 1934. The same year and over again in 1935, established the world distance record with Mario Stoppani at the controls. Produced in quantity, also by subsidiaries, it was largely employed in the Spanish War and in World War ll; after the armistice it operated with Allied Co-belligerent Air Force. The Messerschmitt Bf 110 G entered service in May 1942 and was characterized, compared to previous versions, for the adoption of two 1475 HP Daimler Benz DB 605 engines. With the new engines it was able to reach the speed of 595 km / h. In particular, the G-4 version, assumed the role of heavy night fighter with the task of counterbalance the Allied bombers incursions over the skies of Germany. Heavily armed, thanks to the possibility of installing, under the fuselage, two MK 108 30 mm guns. JU - 87 B2 Stuka model set JU - 87 B2 STUKA - MODEL SET - The JU-87 dive bomber is certainly one of the most famous airplanes of World War II. This characteristic "inverted gullwing" aircraft became famous at the early stages of the war, when Germany had virtual air superiority. Later on the planess limits became obvious. The Stukas were then used as troop support aircraft on the Eastern front, where its robust fuselage proved to be quite adequate. During the final war period the plane was used as a night bomber where the flying qualities of its crews were important in a situation of technical and numeral inferiority.
