F4U - 5N CORSAIR - MODEL SET - The Corsair is one of the best known airplanes of World War Il which fought against the entire array of aircraft used by the Japanese Forces in the Pacific theatre. After the war the Corsairs were set aside, together with other propeller-driven planes, to expect demolition awaiting replacement by jet aircraft. In 1950, at the outbreak of the Korean conflict, more than one hundred units were re-activated to combat the onslaught of the North Korean Forces. The Corsair still proved a viable airplane, robust and reliable, superior to the first, rather delicate jets which were to end the Corsair's life span. Per saperne di più -

This sleak twin-engine plane is an evolution of the ME-210 which was supposed to substitute the M-110 as a heavy fighter plane. This plan did not materialize due to serious problems with the aircraft’s engines. All of this resulted in a series of modifications which ended with the realization of the Model 410. Yet, despite all the improvements, the airplane inherited some technical problems which made sufficient distribution to all the various Luftwaffe units impossible. SUPER DECALS SHEET The multi-role combat aircraft Tornado was jointly developed and built by a multinational collaboration of Italian, German and British companies. After forty years from the set up of the development, the Tornado is, still today, an aircraft with a significant operational capability. The Tornado is a twin-engine, variable sweep wing able to perform well as a low-level supersonic strike aircraft and able to “follow” the ground profile. The most successful commercial version was the ground attack variant IDS (Interdictor and strike). 15,00 €Mirage 2000C Gulf war 25th anniversary The Dassault Mirage 2000C is a single-seat air superiority fighter and it has been a reference point for the French aircraft production. Entered in service in the first part of 80’s, it maintained the typical “delta wing” aerodynamic design but, compared to the previous generation French fighters, the Mirage 2000 has adopted significant technical improvements. Thanks to its SNECMA afterburning turbofan engine, it is able to reach the speed of Mach 2.2. It has a great maneuverability and it can carry a various set of offensive weapons. The Mirage 2000C is often considered the first new generation fighter, produced in Europe, to be entered in operational service.
