This sporty and economical Ford Mustang, the originator of the "Pony Cars", was available from April '64 and within six months Ford had sold an unbelievable 680,000. In 1965 a high-performance version of the Mustang, the GT 350 built by Carroll Shelby with a 4.7 litre V8 engine appeared. The Hertz car rental company ordered 1000 of the GT 350 H (for Hertz) in black with gold trim, to enable their customers to rent "racing cars" and this 306 bhp exceptional Mustang very quickly found favour with them. Features: - Two complete chassis provided to allow mortar to be built either running or firing mode - Bonus German artillery crew of 6 figures Cyber-Hobby has come up with a monstrous combination for its latest Orange Box item. The new set features a 1/35 scale kit of the German 54cm Mo"rser plus a set of crewmen to operate it. This self-propelled mortar was huge! Weighing in at 124 tons and measuring 11.37m long, a total of six such vehicles were manufactured by Rheinmetall-Borsig in 1940-41. This vehicle was known as the Gera"t 041 when the 54cm barrel was fitted, a move designed to increase the range of the original 60cm mortar. The vehicle was moved by a V12 Daimler-Benz engine to a maximum speed of 10km/h. The weight of the s Be Granate mortar round that it fired was 1.58 tons. The maximum rate of fire of six rounds per hour demonstrates that its ultimate purpose was for usage as a siege weapon. The specific vehicle featured in this kit is Loki, which was the fifth weapon in the series to be produced. This Orange Box set also includes six German soldiers. They are specially designed to fit this Mo"rser, and each one is sharply molded as he goes about his business around the artillery piece. The kit of the Gera"t 041 mortar comes with two complete chassis. This allows modelers to choose whether to show the mortar in firing mode or in transport mode, since the chassis would be lowered for firing. Towards the later Seventies the need of increate fire power of U.S. self-propelled guns led to the development of an 203 mm gun with extended barrel. The M-110 A2 has considerable improvements compared to its predecessors M-107 and M-110 A1 and is used by the U.S. Army and many NATO countries. The 203 mm gun has a firing range of more than 36 km and can be used with conventional grenades as well as nuclear ammunition. M-110’s were widely used by Israel during the Lebanon crisis in the Eighties. During the Gulf war the allies used M-110’s too.
