  1. NVA Middle Tank T-34/85M w/NVA Sapper Team
    32,00 €

    Non disponibile

The Vietnam War was a Cold War conflagration that engulfed Indochina. The North Vietnamese Army (NVA) had originally been formed in 1944 to resist French colonialism, but it continued to fight against South Vietnam from 1955 onwards, and later the USA and its allies. After the American withdrawal, the NVA eventually helped conquer South Vietnam in 1975. The NVA fought a largely conventional war, while the famous Vietcong was a guerrilla force. The NVA was equipped with tanks of Russian and Chinese origin, including the T-54, T-55, T-59 and older T-34/85 types. The celebrated Orange Box range from Cyber-Hobby is releasing a combination set that features a T-34/85M tank in 1/35 scale, as well as an accompanying set of four NVA sappers. Such sappers achieved notable successes in the Vietnam War, including a surprise raid on Da Nang Airbase on 1 July 1965, and another on a USMC airfield on Marble Mountain. The NVA T-34/85M has been absent from the Dragon range for many years - indeed for at least a decade - so this is a good opportunity for modelers to get hold of this useful kit. This tank is a must-have for the Vietnam War modeler, and just like the original ubiquitous Russian tank, the plastic kit has stood the test of time very well. It builds easily and quickly into a detailed model. However, Cyber-Hobby has modernized it further with the addition of a set of convenient Magic Tracks. The 1/35 scale members of the NVA Sapper Team appear in action poses, with typical weapons such as AK-47s and even a ladder for an assault on enemy positions. As to be expected, this Orange Box set offers terrific value for money, plus it provides the strong foundation of an inspirational diorama scene of the NVA in full attack during the Vietnam War. 6. Jagdpanther Ausf.G1 Early Production w/Zimmerit
    50,00 €

    Non disponibile

Dragon has created an Early Production (i.e. G1) version of the Jagdpanther in 1/35 scale. As such it has the smaller internally bolted mantlet, a monobloc gun barrel and an engine deck based on that of the Panther Ausf.A. The aforementioned mantlet is produced by a four-directional slide mold that bears a realistic cast texture. What sets this latest release apart is its coat of Zimmerit, which was applied to Jagdpanthers up till September 1944. The typical square-pattern Zimmerit is astonishingly rendered in 1/35 scale. Zimmerit is also correctly pre-molded on the lower hull, saving modelers the burden of this undertaking. Even the stowage boxes at the rear of the hull receive a Zimmerit layer. To finish off this fine Jagdpanther, Dragon has supplied two complete runs of easy-to-assemble DS Tracks suitable for this Early Production variant. Thanks to its molded-on Zimmerit, this Jagdpanther will save modelers hours of putty hassles. Indeed this “hunting cat” is ready to spring into a suitable diorama or display case. Per saperne di più

Staghound MK I late version Italeri Type: Military vehicles Period: Second World War Country: Great Britain Skill: 3 Model Dim.: 15,9 cm PHOTO ETCHED FRET - METAL GUN BARREL The Staghound armoured car was conceived in the US at the start of WW2, based on a British specification which required a wheeled reconnaissance vehicle with a high level of protection, therefore armour plated, well-armed, and highly mobile. The Chevrolet design proposed a large armoured car which, following an extended programme of assessment and testing, went into production in late 1942, too late to be sent to British forces engaged in North Africa. Allied forces were to receive the Staghound in the Spring of 1943 and they were used in the Italian campaign by British and Polish armies In spite of the impressive performance of this vehicle it was not adopted by the US army and so the 3,000 units produced were used solely by British and Commonwealth forces. Post war the Staghound was widely issued to the new European armies where some examples were in use into the 1970s. Per saperne di più
