Dragon’s 1/35 scale new model of the s.I.G.33 auf Fgst.Pz.Kpfw.III(Sfl.) bears no relation or comparison to the old Sturm-Infanteriegeschütz 33B kit released many years ago. The lower hull is brand new, as is the slide-molded fighting compartment superstructure. Even internal details such as the mount for the sIG33 gun are all new, as are the large stowage boxes on the rear deck. The running gear and Magic Tracks have been borrowed from Dragon’s newest Panzer III kits, meaning they’re of the highest and latest quality. The old kit used to be very popular with modelers, and now Dragon has delivered a fantastic new model that will satisfy the highest demands of contemporary modelers. Per saperne di più
  3. WWII German StuG III Ausf.B w/Wehrmacht Infantry Barbarossa 1941

Features: - Bonus Wehrmacht Infantry, Barbarossa 1941 (4 figures set) - Value-added Magic Tracks w/accurate details Operation Barbarossa, the German invasion of Russia, was the world’s largest ever military operation both in terms of its scale and the price paid in casualties. On June 22, 1941, more than 4.5 million German and Axis troops attacked Russia along a 2,900km front. As well as these soldiers, the enormous military undertaking involved 600,000 vehicles and 750,000 horses. Barbarossa continued into the winter of December 1941, by which time the attack had faltered at the very gates of Moscow. Russia committed 3.2 million soldiers against the initial assault, and later fed in 5 million further soldiers. One of the armored fighting vehicles that Germany made good use of at that time was the Sturmgeschu"tz III assault gun. Based on the chassis of the Panzer III tank, this successful vehicle eventually became Germany’s most-produced AFV. One of the StuG.III variants employed during Operation Barbarossa was the Ausf.B, which mounted a short-barreled 7.5cm gun. A total of 300 StuG.III Ausf.B vehicles were built as close-support vehicles for the infantry. Cyber-Hobby is launching a useful set in its Orange Box line. The box includes a 1/35 scale StuG.III Ausf.B model kit accompanied by a set of four Wehrmacht infantrymen marching across Russia’s vast steppes. The vehicle and soldiers are perfect for depicting the summer timeframe of Operation Barbarossa, a campaign that marks its 70th anniversary this year. Both these items are classic Dragon items. The 1/35 scale figure set has not been available for some time, but the marching figures are as sharply sculpted and well-posed today as they were a decade ago when they were first released. As for the StuG.III kit, it has been upgraded with new Magic Tracks. This economical Orange Box set allows modelers to recreate a typical scene from Operation Barbarossa. Per saperne di più

  5. IJA Type 95 Light Tank "Ha-Gō" Early Production
    45,00 €

The kit depicts an Early-Production variant and it’s based on actual measurements from real tanks. Although it’s a small vehicle, Dragon’s 1/35 scale kit is brimming with detail, something facilitated by the widespread use of slide molds. In fact, every single sprue in the kit employs slide molds, which is an astounding achievement! For example, the turret is of single-piece construction, with the multi-directional slide mold allowing details such as rivets to be rendered. The commander’s cupola is a similar story. The one piece lower hull has the correct armor panels and bolts on it. The upper hull is also one piece, and the gun barrel has a hollow end. The road wheels, idlers, sprockets and return rollers are slide-molded too. The DS slide-molded track links are accurately replicated in miniature so as to incorporate side details. This is an extremely exciting subject from Dragon, and because the Ha-Go was used in such diverse locations, modelers can produce any scenario such as jungle-clad terrain or a Pacific island!
